We had a chance to stay in Kunwar Palace for 7 days. I have just moved to Gorakhpur and was hunting for a place to rent and while doing this I stayed for 7 days in Kunwar Palace. My experience on the very first night changed from a hotel customer to a family member when the owner realised that I am moving to Gorakhpur and thus staying in hotel for so long. My prices per night were slashed significantly and over that the courtesy of staff was impeccable. The staff and owner went out of the way to help us in every way possible. The hotel is well maintained and the location is right in the city centre. Must try for all those who want to stay for a night before heading to Nepal. Thank you Kunwar Palace for the amazing experience.

Never expected this hotel to exceed my expectations. But the service and home cooked food was awesome. The room at first floor balcony was really luxurious. The bedding and bathroom hygiene was well maintained Would definitely stay again in this Hotel
Nice and ok for a night stay...like we did....my experience was that they did not even bother to serve us any beverages....and the clearly refused to serve us any food in the night. Next morning we thankfully left the place....
Just one word for my experience "SURREAL" The rooms are best in terms of maintenance, hygiene and everything... The staff is so generous they are ready to help with everything and that too with a genuine smile on face... The owner is very kind himself... Highly recommend... Infact I would say ... the best hotel I even been into!!
