Kunte baug is a nice place for spending our holiday or the weekend. There are ample of trees in the surroundings and the village being quiet makes the place very peaceful for a stay. It is perfect for the children to enjoy with a few swings and enough place for them to play. The rooms and the surroundings are well kept. The food is homemade and very tasty with a nice quantity. The staff here is very cooperative and helping. Even at night with ample of lighting one feels comfortable in. In all its the best place to spend a refreshing holiday.
Place was awsome! Mr. Kunte explained everything in detail. He is polite man! His staff is is very co. Operative, honest and genuine.
It was a nice pleasant stay. If you want to go to less crowded beach near Mumbai/Pune, go for Sasawane and Awas. Kunte baug is the best place to stay there for family. Impressed with well supportive staff and home made food. It was nice interacting with owner Mr. Vikram Kunte. Few suggestions for improvements as below -
1. 1 bisleri with 2 glasses
2. Handwash
3. AC/Non AC option
4. Electric geyser switch in room
5. Electric kettle if possible
We went here in Dec 2021 for 3 days with family. My 2 young kids have rated this as THE BEST holiday ever. We chose this over any 5 star rated places because we wanted kids to have the space to run around. The food was amazing and hospitality was great. Overall, we have always had a great experience when we have visited any place with Vikram's travel company.
It was a pleasant stay.. A very homely feel with Mr. Kunte himself taking care of his clients.
The food was excellent and the staff was cooperative and caring .
Overall environment was very pleasant with greenery all around and in the nights it was lit like a celebration .
We were cutoff from the city enjoying village life very close to the beach .
It was a memorable break for us away from city life.
Amazing experience and what a delicious food it was !.. I had searched a lot for best meal during traveling and finally got the same at Kuntebaug. Full marks to all food items (aamttii is winner!).

Home away from Home, pleasant atmosphere, close to nature, and very amazing home like food. The rooms are nice with ample natural light, well ventilated, and the most amazing are the super specious balconies. Would love to see how the new paintings have come out when we visit next. Our stay in Kunte Baug was an excellent break after the lockdown. Very nice and pleasant stay. We can enjoy the nature. Service was very good. Prompt and neat. Property is good too. Rooms are spacious and good amenities. Beach access is awesome! Thank you for this experience Mr Kunte and your hospitality, we surely come back to Kunte baug.
Serene beach. Beautifull. One of the best sunset experience in Alibag area. Mumbai sky risers are visible in the north.
Not crowds at all. It gets a bit lonely soon after the sunset. There are no shacks, no shops, no vendors.
