Very sorry to say the behaviour and knowledge of physician attended the community camp at ward 10 is very poor. He dont know what are the diagnostic tests done at govt hosp.kumily. Regarding the concerns of patient regarding uric aid treatment and diabetic with muscle wasting...he said refer You Tube.... He has no time to communicate.. The nurses behaved more professional than him Even the driver knows the simple doubts of customer to clear out professionaly. The physician is one Mr Asif... This happened on 16 th aug 2023 at 11.40 at ward 10 camp Very much upset and this is the reason people says govt hospital is not good .......
One of the best Govt. Facility available around the town. It is maintained decently. But I am very much surprised to see the board in front " please remove your chapel before entering". The officials and the staff are wearing chapels inside.. The resting area could be more organized. I sounded be better off the facility have done parking for the visitors.
Doctors and other staff in the hospital are friendly and the lab technician is reluctant to test if he is not there on time.
A well maintained Primary Health Centre, in the heart of Kumily town. Both Outpatient and Inpatient Departments are rendering health care. Kumily is a deprived town in case of advanced medical treatment. For that nearest hospital is situated either at Kattappana or Kottayam or Theni (Tamil nadu). Considering the importance of tourists in this location more advanced treatment should be provided. There lies the importance of this primary health centre.
