Elephant, bison was not under our luck. Seen eagle, giant indian squirrel, emerald dove. Enjoyable journey through the jungle trail full of Shall tree. Accomodation available inside jungle. Booking possible though state govt/forest dept. website.
Kuldiha forest rest house..what it is. you can stay here with due permission from forest department and DFO of Kuldiha. Best time to visit is summer as forest is less dense and animals do visit salt like daily. you can sit there and watch wild animals there. due to center of the forest only bird and animal sound is the prime disturb. don't forget to take bug repellents . in summer staying there is bit difficult due to high in humidity and no power supply available. you can here barking deer sound and elephant trumpet in night.
A small FRH .if you love jungle and nature you can try out as this is easier to get . Facilities are not great and now odisha govt is coming up with eco cottage so overall maintainence is under challenge . This can be booked online . Salt pit is nearby which is the only chance to see elephants . Food arrangements has to be taken from outside before entering into the FRH. If you are extreme lover of jungle you can try out otherwise from chandipur or balasore a half a day trip is good
Very peaceful and relaxing place , forest staffs are very cooperative . specially Purna bhai , the care taker of kuldiha I.B.is very gentle man .

The government of the state of Orissa maintains the wildlife sanctuary which preserves the rare and endangered species of animals and plants.
It was an excellent place to stay in the deep forest of Kuldiha, however now probably it is not given to outsiders for stay. You can have a feeling of virgin nature and wilderness of the jungle if you get to stay here for a night at least.
One of the least publicized tourist spots of orissa this place is a haven of flora and fauna. Reached by balasore kuldiha is best visited during winter. No mobile network is avaliable in and around the rest house.
A deep dense forest with lot of wild animals in it. One must visit this forest for wildlife experience.
