Amazing location. Affordable pricing for the property that requires a trained house-keeping department. Courteous staff, tasty breakfast - South Indian as well as North Indian, and peaceful weekend getaway.
Food is tasty, but the service and cleanliness is not upto the mark considering the price.
Planned as a one night stay over weekend with me, my wife and 2.5 yr old son. The rooms are just ok, but are due for maintenance. Wardrobes were not in a usable state. Restaurant service is just OK. The menu is not kids friendly, sonif you are planning a visit here, pls call and intimate your preferences a day in advance. First time seeing a place in Kerala where idly, dosa or appam is not served in breakfast. The kitchen team was kind enough to arrange for idlys once we made the demand that its needed for our son. Service needs to improve.

We had lunch from the restaurant during our visit to neyyar dam. The place was crowded and it took around half an hour for the staff to attend to our order. Staff was polite, but the hotel is severely understaffed. Beautiful view from the outdoor seats. Food was good.
Such a nice location. But felt ktdc not used it properly. Food was ok. But staffs were not at all welcoming.
Pathetic service, arrogant and rude. Especially one of the waiter(couldn't get his name) was rude and indifferent. They keep pestering you to order food well in advance and in-spite of the advance order the breakfast was extremely limited (read insufficient). Rooms had cockroaches and excreta of cockroaches, bedsheets were dirty. The only good thing was the front desk team. Wouldn't recommend.
On a hot day a cold beer refreshes like nothing on earth. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The food is tasty. The ambience phenomenal.

Very good rooms and services. But location is difficult to approach. We had our own car so it was okay... And you need to go out for food. No hotel service. But rooms are best
All is great. Staff was very helping. Miran at reception was very polite and humble throughout our stay. They helped me paying parking costs for driver there too.
Nice hotel. Close to the beach. Rooms clean and spacious. Manager is a very calm and soft spoken guy. He is helpful in nature. The housekeeping guy is ever smiling. He helped us with our luggage early morning at 6 am.
All hotels in Kovalam are beach facing and same to this one as well. Got a decent deal by directly contact with the owner. Adjecent restaurant has best food service. Although room candittion can be better but who cares when beach is near.

Real good gym. If in the area for a long amount of time there are super cheap personal training sessions available. A day pass was 250 rupees, the gym was well equipped with free water.
