KTDC Nandanam - Hotel in Guruvayur - Thrissur, India

Though it is an old hotel, its rooms were maintained very neat, clean and dust-free. A comfortable place to sleep. Hotel staff members also behaved in a decent way. I appreciate everyone, for providing such a good facility.

1. The check-in process at KTDC Nandanam Hotel was quick and hassle-free. 2. We had booked two deluxe rooms, and although the room and bathroom were clean, they were not exceptional. 3. Our frustration peaked when the room lock fell apart as we turned the key. Despite calling the service department, no assistance came for 10 minutes. At the reception, a staff member confirmed the lock couldn't be repaired and offered another room. This new room had a similarly unreliable lock, and we requested yet another room, which we received later. Unfortunately, the toilet seat was unstable. The most disheartening part was the lack of courtesy or empathy from the hotel's service staff throughout these incidents, further intensifying our disappointment during the stay. 4. The breakfast provided a welcome contrast to the disappointments encountered in other aspects of the stay.

Not satisfied. Not worth for the money what I paid. Felt like lot of dust in the room. Bedsheets and towels were looking like re using it for many years. They wash it often but those were very old. Whole night i was feeling a dusty smell in the room. Looks like AC also was not cleaned for many months. Staffs are ok and friendly there, but overall building needs major renovation. Hotel food was decent, Until a major renovation happens to that, I have to rethink of selecting that hotel again.

The worst experience I have got. I booked since it is a 3star hotel and belongs to KTDC. My family members around 10 people also accompanied me for my baby's annaprashan in Guruvayoor temple. The hotel facilities qualifies only for a single star facility. Rooms are very old and not properly renovated. Furnitures are very old and needs repair. Public washrooms will be more better and tidy than this. Foul smell in washrooms also. I booked 4 rooms and all rooms were below standard. For 10 people i had booked extra beds also. But unlike other hotels they provided only shabby mattresses but no coat. I had to argue with staff members for providing extra coats which made an embarrassing situation for me and family. Evening snacks from the restaurant were also bad. So we avoided the complimentary breakfast also.I would never recommend this for anyone. Since extra beds were booked initially , they provided shabby mattresses only. Only after arguing i got extra coats. Washrooms, food and amenities we disliked most as a family.

1. Ample parking. 2. Room's were neat and tidy. 3. Room service was good. 4. KTDC restaurant was 'ok' 5. The reception is attentive. 6. Lift was not operative for some time, but was kept operational mostly during our stay. 7. Guruvayoor temple is around 400 m from this hotel.

Nice stay. Ample car parking. The building is old but the facilities are good enough at this rate. The distance from the temple is little far if we try to walk.

Rooms ok. But I booking Deluxe room and my brother was booking premium room there are no varying, slightly change like single sofa only varying. Deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bed size is not comfortable like queen bed only haven. That was not satisfied. Try to change. Morning breakfast is comfortable in own canteen.

Serene atmosphere, old but well maintained property, lavish free breakfast and pleasing staff make it a VFM stay. Thanks all..
