What a place to eat. Saw it on the way while going to Varkala. Great atmosphere Very good food. Good service So much of space and greenery around. Totally worth place to have food

Good place to dine if you are on the trivandrum Nagercoil route. Located 1 km from parassala junction on the left at the sharp corner towards kaliyikkavilai. This place was earlier managed by Uday samudra, now directly managed by KTDC. Compound is bigger enough to park atleast 25 cars . From the parking, there is an entrance to the Beer parlour as well. Food is average with 4-5 options for breakfast. Serving is fine.ambience is also ok. They have good and clean toilet facilities as eell

The beef biryani and its aroma was good, the rice was perfectly cooked, beef pieces were generously portioned and flavorful, but it was slightly undercooked. And for the vegetarian meals, they didn't serve dal curry and it felt like a home cooked meal.

For a KTDC hotel, this defenitely deserves a 5 star.. Especially for the hospitality. Great service.. Very homely feel. Food menu is bit restricted but they give fresh food. So bit of a waiting time is there.

A remarkably clean stop over of KTDC. You won't notice it unless you know it is there. But if you are a weary traveler seeking a bit of comfort en route this is an excellent place. With a beer parlour attached and a sparkling clean restaurant with surprisingly cordial staff, rare in a Government owned venture, you can spend some comfortable time in there. In case you don't care for beer, and you don't know what missed, the standard fare of coffee tea idlis or whatever catches your fancy. I went in the morning and loved the food. I am told the lunch and evening snacks are excellent too. Wide and long parking area mostly empty, and lined with plants is attractive. Surprise: they even have clean well maintained toilets.

Plenty of parking space. Well looked after place. Place for kids to play. Food is also not pricey and of good quality. KTDC has done a fine job. Only issue is even though it's on the road side people can miss it. Need bit more of advertising around.

Decent place for a meal on the road between Trivandrum and Nagercoil. - Good food with huge portions (though the biriyani is Trivandrum style with pineapples!) - Lots of parking space - Clean toilets - Kids' park The tables and chairs are basic (plastic), but clean enough. Not too many food options available though -- biriyani, poori and porotta-chicken when we went. Since it's a government entity, don't expect the usual restaurant type of service. They were extremely nice, but seemed kind of surprised when we arrived!

Very peaceful location ;lots of parking space ; hygienic;easily not visible from road; tea was pricey though ! Food was of good quality and good price ,there is a small fun area for kids
