KTDC Golden Peak Ponmudi - Hotel in Ponmudi - Thiruvananthapuram, India

An excellent place to stay in Ponmudi. Good and neat accommodation. Complimentary breakfast. Dinner was buffet, which was also very good. Rooms are available as individual cottages only. They have cottages for 3 people, with an extra room inside a single cottage. Staffs were well behaved and courteous. The nights were beautiful with cool breeze and fog, particularly on full moon days. Must stay place. A safe and most comfortable place to stay as a family.

True to its name, KTDC Golden Peak nestles on the beautiful golden peak of Ponmudi hills. Clean rooms, properly maintained garden and landscape, exotic view from balcony are the highlights. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Mr.Sajeevan and Mrs.Shobha deserves special mention . Food was also excellent. We could enjoy the breath taking view of Ponmudi hills with clear blue sky, with fine drizzle, with a mighty misty setting and also could experience the beauty of incessant rain atop a beautiful mountain range.....all in a span of 2days. On the whole, our experience was awesome and we will surely go back for more soon...

Best place to stay in ponmudi. Just one u turn from this place and u get to the gate pass section of ponmudi hills. The food is not that great but no other foods are available nearby. While booking a room if you need additional bed call and confirm how many beds are provided first. Because there is already one extra room with bed provided. So we ended up paying additional amount for a bed that we didn't use. And also carry sweaters with you cause it gets really cold at night.

Beautiful location for vacation. The rooms were too good for a good price. At weekends there will be a 20% hike in room rates. Perfect location to spend with family.

It's a experience to stay in this place to enjoy different climate. Views are brilliant. You can enjoy the colors of western ghats. Watching the hill and clouds give you life time experience. Food is ok. Plan your food, to reach the peak, need permission from forest dept. The gates opens at 8 am only. If ktdc had a tie up with forest dept for early access it's great added advantage to the stay here.

Cliff view rooms offer great view of the mountains. Food was decent, though buffet spread was less. Hospitality could be better. I booked for me, wife and 3 kids with full payment in advance. But on reaching room, we found blankets, sheets and towels for two only. But on request, they provided everything. That part could have been better. But the location and view was amazing

Only good is the location & staff is friendly but rooms need maintenance also the house rails are rusted even the bathroom doors. There is bad smell around the Restaurant where food is served need to look into it.
