Good location. Rooms looked good, clean room. Close to the beach. Negative. The AC in the room was not upto the mark. It can be like a sauna in the afternoon. Very limited options for food. You have to order in advance. Price was way too High.

A great place to spend time with family. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Good food with not too many options but the preparation is great. The staff tries to do as much is possible.

Two star for the location, appearance and close proximity to beach - Place do not have a running kitchen - breakfast do not have more than 3 option. Sometime has to accept single option they offer. Also has to provide advance order for breakfast, lunch and dinner. -No hotels on walkable distance and you will stuck with this limited option. -Unpaved road lead to resort. - No bar -AC not effective on daytime due to quality of construction and material used for cabin. -Limited option for dinner and quality of food is par below. Good place for overnight stay not any durther.

Found this place on google and called to enquire about the availability on the new year, to my surprise it was available. The booking was confirmed over phone without any payment. It is located about 400mts from the main road. Best part is its location as it is located just on the beach. One can just walk into the beach at any time. Cottage is spacious with amenities like Tv, AC, Geyser, Toiletries etc. This is an excellent place if you keep your expectations under a little check as it is a govt owned place. Negatives - 1.Wooden smell in the rooms. 2.Limited menu. 3.Rooms floor is wooden so it makes noise if you walk. 4.In afternoon rooms become hot if you use fan. 5.Maintenance required for cottages. Positives - 1. Excellent location. 2. Complementary breakfast. 3. Courteous staff. 4. Budget friendly compared to similar private property. 5. Big cottages and bathrooms. TIP - Use only AC in day time without switching on the fan to keep the temp in cottage at comfort level. This property can be booked by calling them, they can increase guest count if they list on booking sites.

Small but we'll located Resort. Only six cottages hence not crowded. Good scope for further development. Food is good. Charges are reasonable. Beach is clean. Sea is attractive.

A wonderful property mostly unexplored by the travellers. Situated on the shore of arabian sea with a direct entry into the clean beach, nice landscaping. Friendly staff. But only six cabanas are available. You can walk along the shore enjoying sunset and the majestic view of the Bekal fort. Worth a visit with family and kids..

The place is perfectly located , very near to beach. Hospitality was good. Very limited food options , but whatever we got was very tasty

Best beach front resort in mid range near Bekal Fort and Bekal Beach.. KTDC Bekal Beach Camp offers excellent beach view.. only 6 cabanas (wooden cottages ) are available.. Tariff includes complementary breakfast and dinner. but they are providing one item only, if you want more you have to order in advance.. food is tasty.. Children park is adjacent to the resort..
