Very nice place to visit. Situates at the bank of backwaters. Had a stay for four days. Govt. owned property and managed by govt employees. Very hard-working restaurant staffs and offered very good food. Felt safe when I ate the food from here. Housekeeping was very poor and can't open the windows as the unpleasant smell from backwaters over reign all over the room especially at noon time. AC is very poor.. Room is large and bathroom is spacious but there is no separation in dry and wet area. Amenities are very old and Guest supplies are not really acceptable ads they spread torn bed sheet. Make sure your AC in the room works properly. You may not find 'swing' in the ac as it had gone through various repair TV in the room is new and it's LED They have room service, phone is provided. Room tariffs are very affordable and cheap..

Room is OK.Maintenance is not up to the mark. Ideally located. All rooms are facing the lake and the views from the rooms are superb.Adequate car parking facility is available. Only non air-conditioned rooms are available and they are priced at Rs.950 which is reasonable.Extra bed cost Rs.250. Services at the reception and the restaurant are good.Great property but the rooms are not maintained properly.

Although the place is in a picturesque location , the place is not well maintained . The place is undergoing renovation now and is now maintaining a low profile. But still they accept bookings for some rooms . About the service : the staffs have a doesn't care attitude because they know whatever they do , they will get their salary . We stayed a double bed AC room with heater facilities at the bathrooms. We cross-checked with them whether heater facilities were working but it was not . They didnt even check the room before giving us the room . Although there was a jug and a glass, jug was empty to our dismay . I sincerely hope they improve, they have the best place but they are not utilising it and destroying the government money

Rooms are Non AC. Need more maintenance.... including cleanliness. Food cost is tooo high. Didn't expected such a 5 star food bill from KTDC Budget Hotel. Very good location. Good view from rooms. All rooms are lake view. Hotel view from outside is also superb.

Good view through window. Room is just ok, and amneties look old. When they guide you to your room, make sure AC is working properly. Spacious bathroom, no dry area separation. Restaurant and beer parlour available. Good location.

Hotel is average when it comes to amenities and facilities as compared to price. Location is near to bus stand but you wont find many restaurants near this area. Specially if you are a vegetarian you may suffer. Overall an okay experience. Economical.. Friendly Staff.. Location is Amazing.. Beer and wine served in restaurant.. Greens Water peaceful location.. What i felt bad is its not so tidy but excused considering as a budget hotel..

Room: rooms are spacious with lots of natural light with great view of the lake. However, our geyser and flush didn't work. The water pressure was low and bathroom smelled weird. Food: For the first two days the food was good but then the chef was changed and food was pathetic. Even tea and coffee didn't taste good. Food is expensive when compared to restaurants outside the hotel. 1 litre of packaged water was charged Rs. 30/- whereas the MRP printed was Rs. 15/- Location: location is awesome, 2 star is purely to the location. Well connected to both kollam bus stop and railway station.

Right now none of ACs aren't working, and require urgent regular maintenance indoor n outdoor of building. However the place itself very beautiful and the staff are behaves nicely n helpful . Restaurant offering food on request both veg n nonveg dishes. Room rents are cheaper than any other private hotel .
