Kshitija Nesara Dhama, Byndoor - Beach in Paduvari Proper - Udupi, India

A lesser known gem in Udupi district. It's a forest department controlled area which gives a panoramic view of the Someshwara beach. The view point also has a small watch tower to view the beauty and is also surrounded by green cover. The forest department also has a couple of cottages for stay and costs in the range of Rs1,000 to 2,000. There's a small park also in the area for kids to play. There's parking space available and it costs Rs10 per person for entry and a receipt/ticket is given. There's a toilet also at the entrance.

Provides a good panaromc view of byndoor river mouth !! But needs to be improved to attract many tourists and visitors. Also no basic amenities are there inside premises and forest dept office exists on premises is almost no use. Actually there are 2 ways to reach this place: 1. Few mins from someshwara beach road through forest area and climb up around 100-150 straps and little hike, 2. Other one is from main road towards Murdeshwara after byndoor and slight left towards temple - around 5-6 KMs from byndoor. Almost no sign boards are placed on highway and around byndoor town , most of people doesn't come here. Good thing is road towards this provides good landscape view and you can witness peacocks and peahens. During last visit some fellow visitors claimed that they witnessed a full grown tiger while entering this park - Forest dept needs to comb around this area to make sure visitors safety.

Nice place to visit with ur family. Greenery all around the place, Good time to visit during monsoon. You will love the nature around this place very much. Peaceful place. Entry charge is applicable while entering. You can go there with both bikes & cars.

Just 2km from the highway. This place gives really good views of the beach. Road on the way also really nice to take a few pictures. Note - There is entry fee.

It is a good place for people who don't like much crowd and love Much Scenery and Beach. There are 3 Ac and 3 Non Ac Guest House is there in this place.Rates are affordable for Ac 1500 per day and Non AC 1000. For Book cottage e have to call Range Forest office Byndoor or Kundapura. There is no Restaurant or grocery stores nearby.You have to go Byndoor city for buy anything.Cottege Maintanence staff is available all the time of you give money he will prepare food for you. It is a view point located near someshwara beach. This point has beautiful view of sea and a sunset. This is near byndooru. Better to visit in the evening to watch a beautiful sunset
