Fantastic, good and beautiful place
You can use the government bus facility to reach here from Mysore city bus stand. Sound and light shows in musical fountain good which start at 6.45pm. The place was very silent in the day time and at night time it was full of people, at night they have musical fountain water show and boat riding. The entry fee is there. This is amazing for one time visit with family and friends.

If you have good amount of time then this park is really worth to spend. Water fountains, boating, evening musical fountain shows, overall your time will be spent well. Kids will love it fully.

Beware of shopkeepers near the entrance, they charge upto double the MRP price.
In memory of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and mammoth construction and still standing strong for more than 90 years and the park beside that is a great place to spend time with family and friends
Marvellous and beautiful Dam.
This Dam is huge and a treat for the eyes. The dam can be seen from a close spot. When I visited the dam, the water gates were open, so it was a scenic view of the water gushing out of the gates.
I would recommend to come here when the water level Is high or when the gates are open. There was crowd when the gates were open. I would also recommend to visit it when you visit the Brindavan Gardens.
Old Dam and nice to see the waters and boat ride. Awesome place to visit if you plan a trip to mysuru. The park was mind blowing and calm to sit and relax and chit chat with the friends and family and the water flowing from top nice to watch and bushes with a shape. The place was clean. Must visit place in mysuru so bookmark this place when you visit mysuru without fail.

One of the good place in KRS to have food and its not heavy on ur pockets compared to Royal Orchids next door. Good and friendly staff. Has decent food options both veg n non-veg. Cars don't reach top unless one has reservations to stay overnight.
