Library has lot many book to offer than you can probably read. Apart from this it has two study rooms. One Ac and one non ac which are open to everyone everyday even on sundays from morning 8 to evening 8. It also offers a large space for exhibition or art gallery presentations. Apart from this it has a auditorium hall for all sorts of events and a canteen as well. It you get bored after studying you can go for a walk in the mangroves behind the library to calm down your mind.

Goa's only state central library. Well planned and built building housing wide range of books and historical information. Fully air conditioned, ample of space for reading. Clean and maintenanced is a per govt standards. Loads of paid street parking spaces available.

Infrastructure is fantastic and clean. However, No air conditioning is a bummer. Fans in cubicles have been provided if you wish to work on laptop. Pretty well stocked on all subjects.

The library has an amazing and vast collection of books. The only issues is that it is not quiet enough for readers. Either the visitors are talking loudly or the staff are talking loudly or are on a call. I hope the staff can maintain a quite atmosphere so that readers can read or study in peace. It's a library after all.

Mostle all types of books available.Very spacious with ample area for recreation for kids. Very friendly for disabled people. Has a massive collection of books. Have employed modern technology to locate and transport books etc. Must visit this pkace. Best place for books lovers.

My best find in Goa during my college days. It is definitely a state of the art library that houses everything from leisure reads to historical documents from Goa's bygone era. It has central airconditioning, but it does not work half the times. The membership facilities are really cheap and a dream for book lovers. They have special student facilities too. The fiction novels section used to be better maintained a few years back with proper shelving and binding of old books for better life. I hope they bring back the same kind of service as when I went recently, I found that the older novels which are the bestsellers have loose pages falling out inspite of the attempt to bind them back to a shape. But, all those things said, it is my favorite place in Goa to wind down with a book I love in absolute silence.

Great choice of books for kids. And kids section is really adorable. There is a book lift inside. Fully A.C. and we'll organised. There is a mobile library bud too.

There was a time when it used to be a heaven, fully air conditioned hallway to peacefully read the books and magazines and also do your work on laptops. It started sucking after 2018, too many unnecessary restrictions being put, no working charging points, i have no issues with the infrastructure but you'll get roasted like an almond inside due to so much of heat, fans aren't there everywhere and these people are so dirty they don't even want to open the window.
