Tried their Nadan chicken and Chicken thoran perattu with porotta and kappa and it never disappoints

Extremely good and healthy chicken dish from Trivandrum's own Krishna hotel..Had their infamous chicken perattu and chicken Thoran with porotta. Excellent combo..The Masala kootu is special and chicken perattu is pretty Spicy and a bit oily but not drenched in Masala..Its a healthy alternative to the broiler chicken..They Have started new branches at sasthamangalam and pettah..Went to the sasthamangalam one..Its clean and can sit around 30-40 people at once..Its an open kitchen style so we can see whats cooking. Definitely a must try when you are in tvm

Decided to go here once I go to TVM. Was worth a visit. Chicken perattu and puttu are must try. Order kanthari chicken if you can handle the heat. Both perattu and kanthari chicken are spicy. But tasty too. Recommended

I'd heard that their chicken perattu with free range chicken was very popular and worth the drive. We ordered perattu, thoran and kanthaari along with porotta, kappa and puttu.(check my photos) The chicken is unlike broiler meat so expect tough but flavorful meat and full of splintered bones. It takes some effort to eat but you'll be sweaty, red eyed and satisfied at the end.

Due to high ratings and online reviews I was overwhelmed to have food from here, which led me to have food from here. Order of the day (take away) Chicken Perattu - 750grms Chicken Thoran - 250grms The route to this restaurant is superb and if it's night time them it's mind blowing. Chicken Perattu - I ordered 750 grms of the dish and quantity wise 4 to 5 ppl can easily have the dish. The only flavour which I got is that of chilly and coriander powder. I was not able to taste the chicken in this dish. Chicken Thoran - Very bad texture and quality, there was very small quantity of coconut felt like it's not even fresh. In short if you can tolerate high amout of chilly powder go for this dish, if you ask me it's not work the travel or money. PS :- The dish's oil content is mentioned with a pic below.

First of all, you like the way they arranged the cabins, enough space and neat. Secondly how they manage the customers is appreable. I have tried, Meals, Kappa (Tapioca), Nadan Kozhi Peratt (naatt koollli pertttt), naatt koollli kaantaari, Porotta. Meals was good, Kozhi perettu was worth trying, Kanthari was too spicy not for all, Kappa was not good as I expected. Kappa is just boiled pieces, not the mixed paste type. Porotta was good, not as hard, but not the best, just ok ok.

The original Kattachalkuzhi nada kozhi perattu. They have added kanthari chicken too...very nice. They dont have any branch, the one in trivandrum city(pettah n sasthamangalam) with the same name is fake and it doesnt taste similar at all.
