Very basic facility, with reasonable pricing and neat and clean facility. Surprisingly, they do not have any power backup facility, and multiple times power cut caused us a lot of trouble. No lights, no fan, no A/c (during this hot humid time), even Wi-Fi was down during those power cut periods. However, caretaker Chandan-babu and his wife were very nice and welcoming people. They cooked nice homemade food like items that tasted good.
The homestay was awesome. Rooms were really nice. The host Chandan and Parbati were very good, soft spoken and made really nice food for us. I would like to go and stay here again and again.
The owner of this property is simply fraud.Charging 18% GST bill on room rent but you will not get the proper money receipt .Also food menu is very limited.You have to adjust everything according to them.No barbeque or campfire facility is available .No driver's room is available .Although they promised all these at the time of booking .Dear friends,simply avoid this place while you visiting santiniketan. Thank you.
Loved the place, care takers were very helpful. Food was simple and tasty. I felt like I was in a home. Location is also good, Poush mela ground is at walkable distance.
It's calm & quiet. Service is homely, don't look for an urbane atmosphere or promptness.but that is not what u may come to Shantiniketan for.
