Average food. Not very tasty palyas (veg side dishes) rotis were soft. 100Rs per plate is a little too much for the food we ate. Very small place. Better food is available in the opposite khanavali.
Loved this place ,very humble people and amazing north Karnataka food Don't forget to try there holige and buttermilk
Beside Badami Bus stand. Location is very easy to find & it's on main road. Night time no problem for parking. They serve authentic Lingayat thali. From Banshankari Temple 4km away but taste is everything for you so go for it. Best dishes Red chilli chutney, season wise bhaji. Garma garam Bhakri & chapati Owner & his team is very hospitable & kind.
We ate here at two out of three days of our stay in badami. Even though there is no menu to choose from (that we can tell), the food is exceptional. Bot times we were presented with a variety of chutneys, gravies and rotis. All of which tasted great. You can barely keep the friendly staff from refilling all these once you've eaten half of it. This place gets my definite recommendation.
OMG! This place offers FANTASTIC South Indian food. I had a full meal for dinner, and this is arguably the best dinner I've had anywhere around this place. The hospitality is absolutely first class! The people who serve make you feel homely and don't forget to add a smile to every service they provide. They keep asking you to relish more of their food, without any hindrance. So one thing is for sure - you'll have your tummy filled to the brim by the time you leave this place. Disclaimer:- You might find the food a little spicy, but there are alternatives to get it set right:) Happy eating!
Wonderful traditional Thali. Food was excellent especially the dal, bajra roti and moringa varan. Very courteous staff. Excellent service.
Friendly servuce with simple but super tasty meals.. hit jowar rotti meal is speciality here..clean and neat also..
Best food in Badami at reasonable price and courteous staff. Do try Jowar roti/bhakri (not chapati). It is best. Jowar roti is as thin as chapati and tastes awesome.
In badami its very difficult to find a excellent non veg restaurant. But this amazing place looks like a house from outside but they have all the seating upstairs. The specialty of this restaurant is a chicken dish cooked inside an earthen pot. Pleas
