Coverd with 2 feet weeds mosquitoes, drainage wate mix...not healthy atmosphere. Needs urgent attention by BBMP to rejuvenate and maintain on Pay and Use basis..
Lake is totally covered with plants. Totally deserted and scary area. The boards are still there, so seems like the intention and investment done was for good purpose. Not sure if this lake will also be converted to some building construction after some time.
This park is completely abandoned. Lake is covered with weeds and it stinks really bad.

K.R. Puram Lake, also known as Krishnarajapuram Lake, is a prominent lake located in the K.R. Puram area of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is one of the important water bodies in the city and holds significance both ecologically and aesthetically. The lake spans an area of approximately 84 acres and is a result of the bunding of two small lakes, namely Doddanekundi and Seegehalli. It serves as a catchment area for rainwater and plays a crucial role in maintaining the groundwater table in the region. K.R. Puram Lake is known for its serene surroundings and attracts visitors who seek tranquility and enjoy nature. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and serves as a habitat for various species of birds, making it a favorable spot for birdwatchers. Measures like fencing, desilting, and installation of a sewage treatment plant have been undertaken to mitigate pollution and improve the water quality. Puram Lake serves as an important reminder of the significance of preserving and conserving natural water bodies in urban areas. It not only provides ecological benefits but also enhances the overall quality of life for residents in the vicinity.
Walking lane is of mud road, so dust is there. Too many mosquitoes. Good park for kids. Slide, see-saw etc are available.
The lake park is small and provides an best place for weekend with loved ones. The view of the surrounded by high rise buildings and the best thing is ,it is situated close to the city so we can reach it soon. The entrance fee is an bit high for adults, but they give free entrance for kids under age 4 . The main attraction of the Lake is it Draws in more Loved Couples. When you enter the main entrance we see the full view of the lake from snook and corner of the lake. The lakes stretch is not that much. It hardly takes only an hour to go around the full lake twice. Lake park has an floating coffee restaurant which provides an wide of coffee. We feel the coffee in its aroma . The restaurant does take any ride. But it floats in the lake park at an corner of the lake. The lights lite up at 6pm and the restaurant looks like an yellow boat. Park opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm.
Please have a look of the area behind KR puram lake. Horrible can't imagine even hell will be better then this.
