Durga puja, the homecoming of all Bengalis. Waking up in the morning to the sound of drums playing faintly with the flute, a sense of warmth and familiarity in the breeze telling us, that Durga Ma is finally here to visit us. The faint smell of smoke from the arati undertaken by the pandits to welcome our goddess. Just a few days to go for the beginning of one of the most awaited festival, the excitement clearly visible in the air around the streets. We went with the flow as well and had a pre-puja celebration in one of the well known restaurants called the Koyla Cafe. Heading out to meet our friends and having a fun time together was what made this celebration a major hit. The puja pandals, still under construction were one of the many attractions of the restaurant, those pandals made this celebration feel even more special. The staff welcoming us with cheerful smiles and listening to our whims were a delight as well, albeit I wonder how they tolerated us , but it was clear even they could feel our excitement. The ambience of the cafe was picturesque to say the least, living up to the name of "Koyla Cafe" quite well. Though it was picturesque but the ambience somehow felt very cosy and just fit in with the mood we had going. We ordered a plate of Peri Peri fries, which might I add is one of the delicious fries I've ever had. The right amount of crisp and spice together make up the dish. Dipping it in the sauce, we couldn't help finishing it up fast. The pizza we ordered was mouth-watering and scrumptious. The flavours on the pizza meshed quite well making it delightful and finger-licking good. To go with it we had a KitKat shake, which was delicious to say the least. The taste of chocolate quite apparent in every sip. The double apple mint hookah was very strong and flavourful. The mint taste was quite prevalent which made it quite enjoyable. We had quite a good time in the pre-puja celebration and now begins the countdown for the actual Puja celebrations. Waiting with baited breaths for the time when everyone will wake up with the sound of drums as their alarm clock in the morning. Wishing you a very Happy Puja in advance!

Koyla a hidden gem in the heart of the city. It's a newly opened cafe at Park Circus beside Quest Mall. Opposite of Gate no 5. This place keep calling me back time and again because of their food, the Shisha , Service and the interior of this place itself is all so amazing. Loved every bit of their food. Have shared the picture of few food and drinks below. Everthing at this place is awesome and their prices are very reasonable This is a must visit place guys. You must try their pizza ! A very big thumbs up to the team of Koyla and all the best.

* Koyla Cafe Lounge * This place is located at Bullygaunj, Kolkata, just opposite to quest mall gate no: 5. This place serves different kinds of snacks, quick bites, and Chinese foods and you can also get different types of hookah available there. The place is so nicely decorated. It can accommodate more than 40 people at a time. The lighting arrangements is so cool. There are some pics of ambience I gave, you guys can check that out. Coming to the food part, 1. Chicken Wantons : while eating the coating you'll very crunchiness. The inner portion is so soft and tasty and it'll be delicious to eat with mayonnaise. 2. Hara Vara Chicken : This food item looks like a ball of chicken with a cashew nut on it, and its really delicious. 3. Chicken Quessadilla. 4. Chicken Pasta. 5. Sunrise. 6. Brownie with ice cream. 7. Hakka noodles. 8. Fish and chips. Overall I had a great experience there. All the staffs were so humble and cooperative. Looking forward to visit again.

This cafe was on my wish list from a very long time. So last day me and my friends finally visited this place. This is located opposite Quest Mall Gate number 5. The cafe is spacious and bright with good lightning . It gives a cosy ambience which is perfect for a hangout with friends. They also have a different seating arrangement in a room , which is convenient for big groups or birthday parties. So we tried Chicken wrapped prawn - One of the best starter I tried out recently. The prawn wrapped in chicken was deep fried and the crispy coating went well with the spicy sauce and mayo. Kitkat shake - This shake was really refreshing and you will not be disappointed at all. The shake was well blended and the kitkat flavour was spot on . This is also a good place for hookah lovers. Will surely visit this place again and will suggest this place to everyone.

Highly recommended. Had a top notch experience today at Koyla. I booked their private cabin for a birthday party celebration, the charges were quite pocket friendly compared to other cafes, we absolutely loved the birthday special decor, the ambience was awesome, their staffs were very helpful and made us feel like home. Above all, the food quality was amazinggggg. We ordered chicken quesadillas, koyla special pizza and fish n chips. Extremely happy and satisfied, will surely visit again.

So recently I visited the Koyla Cafe Lounge in Ballygunge which is present in just opposite of Quest Mall's Gate no. 5 . This place had a huge seating area and it's ambience was also very rustic. They started with some soft drinks which were Virgin Mojito and Orange Blast. Both of these drinks were very refreshing. Next was the starters which included Crispy Chilli Babycorn, Chicken Quesadillas and Fish Fingers served with thousand island dressing. All the dishes were awesome. Secondly they served Mixed Chowmein , Chilli Chicken and Koyla's special Thin Crust Pizza along with two seeshas. All of the dishes were very good . Service was prompt and the staff was also very cooperative.

Visited this place few days back. It is located near the quest mall, like just a min walk from there. The ambiance top notch. It looks really awesome as the 3rd floor gives a beautiful scenic view from there. The staffs are really nice. Now coming to the food I've tried, *Chicken 65 *Crispy chilli babycorn *Fish nuggets *Mixed fried rice *Chicken manchurian *paneer pizza Drink - Coolberg Hell Energy drink They have hookahs available as well. Go out there and chill with your friends. It's a really nice and cozy place where you can enjoy quality time with your friends. The hookahs are pretty economical. Loved it. Happy eating.
