One among the best places to Stay in Calicut at this budget. The place is really kept clean. Great experience right from check in to room service to check out. Spacious large rooms. The breakfast in the hotel is really good, infact the best I have had among all the hotels I have stayed in Calicut. Kudos to the Hotel Team and the Management. Keep up the good work. I recently visited Kovilakam Residency, driven by the proximity to Aster Hospital, as I came from Qatar for medical treatment. While the room prices seemed reasonable, my experience took an unexpected turn during check-in. Upon inquiring about room rates, the receptionist questioned if my companion and I were a couple. When confirming this, I was taken aback by the request for proof of marriage. Unfortunately, our passports lacked updated spouse information, and our only alternative, the Qatar ID, was deemed insufficient. It's disheartening that the hotel management insisted on such documentation, seemingly implying that we needed to prove our marital status. Such a requirement is out of touch with modern hospitality norms and goes beyond the standard protocol for hotel bookings. Are they acting as magistrates or local authorities? This unnecessary and intrusive policy marred an otherwise potentially positive experience. I hope Kovilakam Residency reevaluates its approach to customer service, recognizing that trust and respect should be the foundation of any guest establishment.

Well located, beside Mini Bye pass near Aster MIMS. Easy Parking. Restaurant with great Ambience, tastily prepared & presented food. Variety of Menu options for Kerala & North Indian food.Pleasant staff, Medium priced.

Very good hotel made with good quality materials and minimum plastic. Behaviour of security person - to the people at reception was warm and welcoming. Midhun who completed his Post graduation in commerce was very friendly. The food was also good and up to the expectations.

Nice and spacious rooms. Near to Aster MIMS Hospital. Receptionist Mr. Midhun helped in getting the room at the earliest, the watchman helped in getting the auto(note: it was raining then). Food in Restaurant was good and at decent price.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Especially Mr Midhun Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, room .The room service and Food was Very Good.

Had a very comfortable stay at Kovilakam Residency. Hotel is located opposite to Aster Mims hospital and they have few parking spaces right in front of the hotel. Room was spacious enough. They provide complementary breakfast and water bottles. Staff members were very friendly, special thanks to Mr Mithun for his assistance throughout.

Excellent room service, Excellent staff and food was superb too. We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. Highly recommend this one
