KOVILAKAM BAR - Bar in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

The foods good but strangely the last time I went they wouldn't let me buy a beer to take home with me... Don't understand the logic behind that. Do they want to ensure all guests go back driving drunk?

Local bar staff behavior is extremely worst. Treating customers like free liquor. Confusing customers at the time of billing. Most of the time not giving balance amount and shouting when we are asking for this. Dear management pls look in to this and consider seriously otherwise you will loose your goodwill and customers.

Our own desi Bar to watch matches or just chill out. Cool spot to hang out with friends. Staff are very friendly, especially Binil, Arun n team. Even though they are lesser in number but know how to deal with their customers. Mngmnt has to add more staff for better service. Food is also good n value for money. NB: Avoid going there in peak hours.. you may get disappointed

For those who love to sit in peace with some alcoholic drinks, a bar is an excellent place. Whenever I am in Calicut, I visit Kovilakam bar. A bar needs to have several qualities. Serving, hygiene, time, care, price, peace... In satisfying all these qualities Kovilakam bar ranks first. I enjoy being there. The manager and the other staffs are always ready to serve you. You need no other friends. They care about you just as friends do.

I just remove my 4 star.becouse of the behaviour of staffs.they are not polite sometime they behave rude.few years ago this is one of my fav bar
