One of the best family restaurents in Kanjirapally which also serves as a bakery. Their biriyani and chinese menu items are really good and decently priced. Their vegetarian options are also good, like butter paneer and gobi manchuarian. The restaurent has tight seating, but its neat and clean most of the times and the quality of food is high. The service is good and fast and the staff are friendly, they also have take away orders and parcel. Their bakery items are also good and worth trying, their is some parking space, but the restaurent is located in a traffic heavy street, so it may be better to park a little father away. It is located at a walking distance from the cathedral church.

Kottaram family restaurant serves the worst Chicken Biryani I never ate before. The rice was over cooked & tasted sour. The chicken pieces was stale & tasteless. I have informed the same to the staff who was in the cash counter but he did not consider the complaint . I never recommend "Kottaram Family Restaurant" to eat Chicken Biryani.

Kottaram restaurants and bakeries are everywhere in Kottayam. Nice customer service. But staffs have to be more careful when packing things, one item was missing but the bill was added. ( when they are in a rush, it can happen. So its okay ) A huge variety of bakery items are available here. The place is maintained neat and clean. Parking facility is okay In sundays they are open.

Earlier kottaram was too good. Now with increasing number of branches their food quality is slowly and steadily depreciating. Hope the management brings back the good old economical cuisine back.

Been a customer of Kottaram restaurant Kanjirapally for a long time. Now Kottaram restaurant and bakery services are spread across all major towns of Kottayam district. My favourite dish from Kottaram is Porotta and Chilly Chicken. Their Chicken Biriyani is also the best you can find in the nearby area.

Veg-chicken-egg-miced fried rice &noodles,chilly porotta ,chilly chicken-beef-fish-paneer ,paneer butter masala ,Gobi munchoorian ,chilly gopi, butter chicken , pepper chicken etc are also available Coffee,tea,lemon tea,masala tea ,different varieties of shakes-fresh juice-lassies-limes,soda lime etc are also available From noon chicken items like shawarma ,shawai ,Al-pham etc are also available It also have bakery with lots of variety packed and snacks items, sweat items ,cakes etc
