It is beautiful rain forest.... i visited here 3 times... full of silence ... two forest offices Karnataka and Kerala.. The hill top view is beautiful... it is nice place to hangout with friends...

Awesome place.nice tracking experience.This is a beautiful place in the Western Ghats near Kasargod, North Kerela. While the Kottencheri peak is beautiful in the reserved forest area where proper Forest permission is required before entering, one can also visit the other hills in the area that are equally scenic and provide stunning views.

Good place for trekking, But need the permission of forest department

Drive to this place is a nice experience, especially the off roads (through the woods)

Its an awsome place to get a trucking and forest experience together.You have to get permission from the forest department from malom a small town nearby.The need of a local guide is essential. People staying at the colony nearby the forest will be ready to guide you through the forest.Animals like elephant and king kobra are common in this forest.

The Kottancherry Hills are known for their beautiful scenery, beautiful forest scenery, light breeze and snow.Touists and natural lovers are so loving this place...

Visited on 24-01-2023...presently not permitting trekking inside forest because of wild elephants...just went top of hill and came back...even that was nice experience...

Beautiful place . Only few of them know this place in Kasaragod except the local people . Little difficult to climb the hill . But the beauty after a tough climb is believe me it's too good .If you are a nature lover , explorer , if you like trekking you will definitely like it . There are also water streams while climbing . Cold natural water flow will heal you . Requires more time to climb but will be relieved when you go back . Great Experience
