kotna lake - Lake in Kotna - Vadodara, India

I have visited this place twice so far. Beautiful and peaceful place. River is calm and kayaking there helps relax. If you are lucky you may get to see different kinds of birds - egrets, storks, kingfisher, peacocks etc On my second visit I also saw many monkeys. You can easily get kayaks there. Pre booking is also possible. They charge around Rs.300 per person for an hour. At times if there's a big group then they do offer discounts.

Good place to visit for spending 2-3 hours. The road leading to it is in a very bad condition. Boats good quality. We can enjoy half an hour on the boat in the middle of the water. Water is not very deep. It's awesome place

Kotna is perfect place for one day picnic for fun ,, there is kayaking boats for ride. That was so fun with that kayaking boating, they charge 300 rs per person for 1 hour. I think this is good place for spending your precious time

Crystal clear water...& self rowing boating is additional excitement..

It's 4 star because it's free . It's not running water so muddy and little dirty . No managing authority. You can drive to the waterbody , parking here is free but on pick days you have to park your cars in local people's farm and they charge you for this. Boating and sailing is available at reasonable price. Request you all not to spoil this or any area by your brought foods and packed food wrappers . It's our responsibility to keep such areas clean . Locals are also selling several food items here

Pathtic place! Utterly disappointed! Government should ban sale of any ready to eat items and plastic there otherwise this educated illiterates will distroy all the places. Mandan lake is one such example! Why do you want to go there and eat??? Control your hunger for 2-3 hours!! Good for your health and the environment!
