Koti-Chennaya Theme Park - Theme park in Karkala - Udupi, India

Just 20Rs ticket, museum and theme park is well maintained, clean and peaceful. Recommended place to visit when in Karkala. If you know Tulu language, you can understand the portraits there about Koti Chennayya

Very well maintained theme park. Museum is also excellent . I request the authorities to put display board about story of koti chennayya in other languages and also provide brief description of the artifcats displayed. If possible print a leaflet about the story. I request the authorities to keep up the good work

It's located in Karkala. Popular in Dakshina Kannada and coastal Karnataka region. Koti and Chennaya are the twin brothers born to Deyi who died while protecting the locals. Colorful dolls are exhibited there which depicts the various plays( hulivesha, kambala and so on) . A tourist guide was there who said the story about their lives. And also we can see the things that were used that time by Koti and Chennaya.

Very nice park to visit. Dakshina Kannada cultural heritage are been exhibited in-terms of idols. Also one can witness blissful museum of century old items.

Its still being developed but you can visit it for free, they have all ancient collections of our culture and a museum which is built in house like structure. Much crowd was not there and sign board wasnt in hindi so could not read instructions properly. But the way to go to this place is serene and wonderful

A beautifully curated museum with historic artefacts

A very interesting place to visit, to know about local history. In charge and Guide Abhilash was very good and narrated the story of Koti-Chennaya in great detail. Also visited the park there with lifesized realistic looking statues of artisans of typical local village. A must see place for all

* This theme park is located in Karkala, just 3 km from the Karkala bus stand. * It's situated near Karkala Taluk Stadium, also known as Mangala Stadium. * The theme park pays tribute to the twin heroes of Tulunadu, Koti-Chennaiah, who are predominantly worshiped deities/demigods. * The infrastructure showcases beautiful Tulunadu culture, featuring photo-framed paintings narrating the life story of Koti-Chennaiah on its walls. * You'll find various wooden structures, statues of demigods, and metal artifacts used in daivaradhane collected and displayed throughout the theme park. * There's a small Tulu village recreated at the back of the theme park, often overlooked but a must-visit place. * It's a wonderful destination for family outings and photography enthusiasts.
