Not neat A lot of bus services allowed for all major cities. Both private and government bus services are available. All the services are available near to this bus stand. Police support also available. This is located inside fish market.
My hometown first of all.. Stand is clean, and buses does not rush in and out. People around were very friendly. The stand is divided into 2 The first side have buses for farther places (private and ksrtc). The other side the buses are for interior areas in kothamangalam region. Towards the left of the stand restrooms are available. Many small shops are avilable (bakeries and restaurants) are avilable on the stand itself.
No facilities for waiting area and highly congested place.
The stand is spacious......and you would get almost all buses to near by cities. But the cleanliness when considered the rating goes behind. So in overall it's ok.
To travel to Munnar, Idukki, Kattappana and Kumali, which are the favorite destinations of tourists, Kothamangalam should be touched. So the facilities at Kothamangalam bus station need to be increased. The presence of many schools and colleges in the nearby areas also adds to the importance of Kothamangalam.
I am very disappointed by the poor maintenance and cleanliness of the place. The bus terminal is in a terrible condition, with garbage everywhere. There is no toilet facility available.
