Kotappakonda Sri Trikoteswara Swami Temple - Featured Reviews (9869)
Very peaceful temple. The atmosphere here on the hill is good during winters. A weekend getaway with spirituality. The food options are very limited; so better to carry own vegetarian food as it's a holy place. There is lift facility as well for going up to the temple. Darshan options are 1. Free darshan and 100/- and 200/- rupees tickets

Superb Beautiful devotional place. nice view points with nature. There was a small and beautiful zoo park on the way. Best n nearest weekend enjoying holiday spot. Children's must visit.
Main temple is on the fourth floor. There is provision to take lift. Alternately, walk up through a small incline and work few steps you can reach. We visited in a weekday, there was not much crowd. Had the darshan of Lord Shiva leisurely. From here, you can climb some more steps and visit the huge statue, further up at the top is naga devatha statues. Lot of red faced monkeys in this area. There are many view points to enjoy the scenery. Dakshina Moorthy temple, Shiva Lingam, Ganesh idol are other places of interest. Plenty of parking spaces for car. Chhapal stands are available at both places - near lift or walkway. There is an entrance fee at the bottom of the ghat. They charge Rs.30 for cars and progressively increases for bigger vehicles. You can add this place to your itinerary of you are visiting Chirala or Vijaywada.
1. This is a very big temple on the hill top. 2. The view is beautiful. 3. Very big statues of Goddess Lakshmi & Lord Vishnu, Ganesh, Dakshinamurthy, Shivalinga with 3 shiva faces, Nandi are seen. 4. Lord Shiva linga, nagas are seen in the temple. The steps (30) are very high and not so easy for elder people. 5. It is said that the actual temple is on the hill top, which will take 2 hours via mountain. 6. There is a legend about a lady devotee fo whom shiva blessed. I heard that she used to go up to the temple top for him, and later, he came down for her. It is said that there is a temple for her. We didn't go. 7. My dad said ariselu is the prasadam, but we forgot to buy. 8. It is said that there would be annadanam, food available for lunch ( we were late and it's closed) 9. Temple re-opens at 3pm. Cost: > At the entrance, 50 rupees were collected for the cab to go up > A min. Of Extra 10/- would be added for the products sold near the temple. For Eg, 40 rs cool drink is 50. Food: There are not many places around for food. We went to a hotel - Vijayaganapati Tiffin & Bhojan Hotel. Lunch was extraordinary and cost 100 per plate ( for vegetarians. it's a boon) Opposite the hotel there is another temple which looked very old and closed. But outside, we could see Lord krishna and nagas installed outside. Shiva & Parvathi temples were closed. There is a petrol bunk next to the above-mentioned hotel and also has a washroom facility.
Nice temple, good atmosphere, beautiful place to visit, the lord shiva linga was amazing. Excellent place to visit. Please go and visit & enjoy
Excellent vibes here. Pleasant atmosphere. Buses available from narasaraopet bus stand in early morning hours only. You can book an auto only with your bargaining skills. 12 to 15 Kms from narasaraopet. You can see many idols and monuments here. Overall you will have a great day and the best experience.
