Small but nice airport. Provides selected non operational flights such as VIP and medical. Situated at Jhalawad road and spread in nearly 669 acres of land. Just 8 km from Kota Railway station.

Guy's a good news for all of you Advanced level and international level airport is under construction in Kota city at shambhupura Hope it will start soon for all of you The old airport may be used for government schemes according to them after new one started There is no runway for commercial flights and jets only helicopter and some small size plan are landed It's used basically for training and emergency situation

Kota airport has only one scheduled flight to and from Jaipur everyday. It doesn't have a flight to Delhi which is needed urgently. Moreover the 9 seater Cessna flight operated by the Supreme airlines would be a wee expensive considering the good Rail connectivity of Kota. But the Runway of the airport being small for bombardiers or ATRs leave alone the bigger airbuses. We don't see big passenger aircrafts plying any soon.

If government will start this airport.....it's really very helpful for students who live kota

Just a small and normal airport to meet the demands of travellers. Not very good for Airport lovers. Facilities are not very good and planes are also seen very rarely. Still needs a lot of development.
