It is a small but lovely park built on Kosi Dam. Scenetic view of Kosi river can be enjoyed here. You will get natural view of mountain surrounded on one side and river on other side. You will also get view of fishes floating inside the river water. Very cool & calm place. Best time to visit is morning or evening. Entry is free of charge.
Very beautiful place situated on the kausi river in Uttarakhand. The Kosi Barrage head regulator is not far from Ramnagar main town. It is just 1km from lakhanpur chungi or Central Information and Reservation center of forest department. It can divert water if Kosi in two different directions. The place has two small gardens. Good for watching birds especially Crested Kingfisher. You may also get Pied Kingfisher, drongo, swallows, brahmin duck, little cormorant near this point.
Kosi barrage is a nice and chill place for hangout with frt or family.
This is an amazing park, it contains machines for exercises and have swings for childrens. This park provide very nice view of mountains and flow of water in dam. Good for morning walk, jogging, exercising, meditating.
