Old timey vibe. We went there for breakfast. Get the butter toast with whatever you order. Big fat bread that's toasted and slightly slathered with butter. It went well with the fried eggs I ordered. I don't know if there's anything that would take me back here though. My friend ordered the mutton cutlets and he said it could have had some more flavour.
Right on the main road on Lavelle Road. It's one of Bangalore's oldest and rarest cafe which also sells beer a very rare combination. Just be careful of timings as k. Google it shows open from 11. But from 11-3 both non ac and ac options are open. But from 3-7 the ac section and lunch items are closed. Overall food is very nice but service sucks . The waiters are pretty old and hence they don't care much so don't expect a very good service. Price is also very reasonable overall a place you should try
It is an old classic in the heart of Bangalore. With a 90s vibe and music that that's you back. There is a separate space for the breakfast crowd and the lunch and dinner dining crowd. The food was good, and the presentation could have been better. We tried the chicken steak and pork ribs with clear chicken soup. Taste was lovely! Must visit for a classic experience and folks interested in an old-school vibe.
An old world colonial cafe, extremely popular eatery in Bangalore since many decades. Quite an iconic place. They have many signature dishes which are quite popular. Many options available for vegetarians as well. We had mushroom on toast, baked beans on toast, veg cutlet and their famous cold coffee.
This is OK for a one-time visit, for the ambience, occasional catch-up, and nostalgia. So-so food, good service if lucky, and somewhat expensive prices considering quality. We ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken puff, fruit cake, naan, soup, curry and coffee. Almost Rs 1200. Pretty pedestrian stuff, but the atmosphere has charm.
Visited the place with my friends. Reached the place at around 2pm. The place was decently crowded. It has the authentic look and feel, like walking into an Indian Coffee House, what the place is famous for and basically the character of the place. The mutton cutlet here is famous and hence we ordered a plate. We also ordered the vegetable cutlet, butter toast, lassi, mushroom omelette, special coffee and a tea. The fact that you pay 625 rupees for two cutlets was totally unacceptable after tasting it. Its big, but a very average cutlet, served with some veggies. Totally disappointed. The vegetable cutlets were decent enough and probably the best thing we ordered. The butter toast was also good and hence the 2 stars. Everything else was very poor. The lassi was below average, the fries did not have any seasoning and not well fried as well. The place is just about the old setup inside and everything else is below average, the food, the service. Definitely a let down.
Overpriced, pathetic food, accompanied with awful service. The only thing Koshy's has is legacy, and this comes from a time when no other place in Bangalore offered English/Continental breakfast. In today's day and age it's clear that the food is awful and nowhere near what actual English/Continental breakfast is. Sandwiches are cold pieces of buttered white bread with the edges cut off, with a thin cold layer of meat. The mutton cutlet is ridiculously overpriced. The Spanish Omelettes are also cold and soggy.
Visited this legendary restaurant to grab lunch. Unfortunately reached there late and did not get the Lunch Menu. However, got the all day menu and it was delicious. Tried the chicken sandwich, mutton cutlet and fresh lime soda and they were excellent. This is a mandatory place to visit especially for breakfast.

Visited twice and food was amazing both the times. Friendly service. Reasonable pricing too. Looking forward to be a regular. They have home delivery service also. Rating 5/5
One of the older restaurants in south Bangalore. This is the original Brahmin's coffee Bar. Subsequently many places with same name have started in Bangalore though they are not related. Unlike most other places this restaurant has its own timing - 7
Best taste and service. It's one of my favourite places. Whenever we go to Yelahanka, this is the place we prefer to eat. I hope the employee name is Naveen, he suggests the best choice, listens carefully to the orders and serves as we desire. I reco
Visited here on a Saturday morning. Was quite crowded. Famous spot for breakfast with limited yet tasty menu. We had their Ghee Masala Dosa and Idli Vada with chutney. The Masala Dosa was very crisp with good filling of potato bhajji. Idli Vada was a

My favourite pub in Bangalore. Vast seating, excellent vibe, fantastic food! Great service. It is really sad that this place has closed down. The food is inspired by Karnataka. Cool film inspired decor everywhere. The baked Mysore Pak is most excelle
One of the best filter coffees in south Bangalore ! Very reasonable prices and don't miss to have the Idli and vada with chutney ! The taste is unparalleled and also one of the few places open from pretty early in the morning. The vada is the best
