Koshe kosha at Sodepur is a good choice for foodies who love Bengali cuisines. The indoor decor is simple but has a traditional touch of Bengal's art and culture. The joint is spacious. Coming to the food, taste is extremely good. However, the price might seem to be a bit high. But if you consider the quality and quantity, it's worth it. The Bhetki-chingri melbondhon in starters is a must try.
Located in Sodepur on B.T Road. Nicely decorated family restaurant. Nice variety of bengali food available. Service is very good. I ordered gandhoraj ghol, fish fry, luchi, alur dom and mutton curry. They served complementary papad and salads. Food tastes really good.
The food is good, but quantity is very very less as per their price. First they serve two plate polao in one bowl so that we couldn't understand the quantity and it couldn't cover 3 people. Then we ordered one single basanti polao, the quantity was almost like the two plate in one bowl.
The chicken piece was so small with lots of bone and no chicken at all. Taste was good. Not recommending at all for the quantity and quality.

Food and services are very good. Decoration and ambience is also beautiful. But one thing is so weird that the all waiters keep looking you all the time from entering to exiting that is so weird and disgusting and distrub privacy and make you uncomfortable. Also just after serving a cuisine as you just bite for the first time they will run for asking how is it, it's ridiculous. just give a break to your guest and ask this when they leave. Please respect privacy
A very good place for traditional bengali lunch and dinner.

In my college days I used toh visit koshe koshe Hatibagan branch during Durga Puja .. their Mutton kosha and Ruti was my favourite .. now koshe koshe is open in my locality sodepur ..so we there to give a iburovaat treat to one of my school buddy .. The Mahabhoj Thali was awesome ... Another day we ordered Chicken kosha and Ruti ... I don't why I love their Ruti so much .. I am not a ruti lover person at all but whenever I went to koshe kosha I prefer Ruti over rice .. the ruti they make is so so soft I just can explain ... The rate of fish fry is bit higher according to me .. aam panna was also very good in taste ... Staff behaviour is good ... But as it is in the 1st floor and I am not sure there is any lift facility or not it could be problematic to age old persons... Other wise It is a good choice for Bengali Cuisine in Kolkata ..

It's situated at Dhankol, which is very close to Sodepur. Currently Sodepur is a hub of restaurants and fast foods and this place is a great dine in site. I went there for a birthday party which means you can book this place for your any type of celebration days. The look is inspired by Classic Bengali traditions and as a result you can find "Gamcha" as a decoration material. It was simple yet creative. The restaurant is on 1st floor and you can find a mirror at the entrance for a perfect mirror selfie. Place is neat and clean with a cool, calm vibe.
Personally I had Rice, pulao, dal, sukto, fulkopi er torkari, mutton, chatni, papor ,misti- a classic bengali thali. In my opinion food was very light, not too spicy. But the mutton can be better honestly. Also I had a fish dish- paturi, which I certainly didn't like. I have tasted way better! But overall it's was nice and great choice if you want to grab quick, light meal while traveling.
You can definitely check in while pandle hopping as Durga puja is knocking on the door.
Best option for phuchka lover. Krishna da serves best quality phuchka since last 10 years. His behaviors also very good. I eat at least 4 days in a week. Dahi phuchka is best.
