Good place to eat Bengali cuisine in Behala. Fish dishes are good

Ordered Baked roshgulla. Very small pieces and has two piece only. This two pieces won't make up a single standard roshogulla. And as it can be seen in picture, looks very unappetizing. Not sufficient as per price.

This is the MAHAVOJ THALI with Vetki & Mutton. They also have many different thali. Awsome food quality and their staff's behavior is also very good.

Went to Koshe Kosha today afternoon.. food quality and quantity was good ordered bhetki fry, basanti pulao dhakai mutton and baked rosgulla .. Bhetki fry was huge in size and tasted good .. basanti pulao had perfect amount of sweetness and dhakai mutton was very flavourful but not rich and lastly baked rosgulla was hot and heavenly.. they have limited menu during puja time and price is hiked up as well. As the place is very small be ready to wait for atleast 45 mins .. overall nice experience

The food and ambience was excellent. The hospitality of the staff was highly commendable. Must try their fish fry, Kichu Pata Bhapa with Chingri and Nolen Gurer Ice Cream.

When I came after a long and tiring journey in the restaurant, the staff was very polite and made me feel like home. They offered me everything to soothe myself and relax both physically and mentally. I've eaten in many Bengali restaurants but never have I found this kind of wholesome hospitality. The food, the behaviour, the space they gave me for my comfort was absolutely marvellous. I suggest everyone to come here and experience authentic Bengali cuisine with complete relaxation.

1. Ambiance: Nothing fancy, still nicely maintained. Clean tables and chairs. It's a two floor arrangement. Beware of the ceiling in the upper floor. Although covered with soft padding, still one can get his/her head bumped. Lower floor appears little more airy. 2. Food: It is a Bengali cuisine restaurant. Everything we tried were good. One particular mention, Mutton Jagurath tasted like a sour chatney preparation of mutton. All the food were freshly prepared. Photos attached. 3. Service: Very much welcoming and courteous they have been. Their suggestions were genuine. And they have been prompt as well. 4. Price: Sumptuous meal for two costed around 1.4k and it included mutton, chitol peti, shrimps (kucho chingri diye shak). It is an expensive restaurant, but justifies its price. 5. Parking: Located right on the main road, we could park our car right by the gate. During a busy evening, one may have to park his/her car somewhere little away. Be careful for 'no parking' signs. 6. Overall: Although nothing overwhelming, still we enjoyed our meal. Food were delicious and we enjoyed it.

Worst experience. Food was not good at all. Neither the ambience is good. It's a very small size restaurant where only 10-15 people can adjust at a time. They kept us waiting for more than 40 mins before serving the food. I ordered mutton for Rs550 which was not adequate in size. Also the taste was not good.
