Korta Escape - A Heritage Resort in Jawai - Resort hotel in Sumerpur, Korta - Pali, India

Nestled amidst nature and the Jawai Forest Range is this quaint, beautiful property in Korta village, Rajasthan. We spent two nights here, and not only did we get to discover the best Pali Leopard Safari while immersing in Jawai's natural splendour, but we also experienced true Rajputana hospitality. The owner of Korta Escape, Mr. Nirbhay Singh, makes sure none of his guests miss his personal care. Another added advantage of staying here is the home-cooked food they serve. All the vegetables used, we were told, were home-grown and organic. We were there with our 4-year-old, and it was a huge relief. The area is sprawling so much that 14 grown-up horses and their babies have their own stables and separate areas for grazing. Mr. Nirbhay Singh, a pro-horse rider, shares his knowledge about horses as passionately as he talks about history, political science, arms, artillery, and what not. Evenings are something one shouldn't miss about this property. There's a bonfire with drinks and snacks, followed by a lip-smacking dinner of Rajasthani royal cuisines, including lal maans and panchkuta. We are already planning to visit this property real soon. One of the most luxurious and authentic resorts near Jawai. We were there for 2 nights and it is the perfect place to enjoy with friends & family. The host, Mr. Nirbhay Singh is native to the place and personally takes care of all the arrangements for the guests. Great size rooms with a porch to relax. I Would love to mention the lovely horses During our stay we got leopard safari. Riding in the hills and straining our eyes through binoculars to spot a leopard while the Sun crept on us was truly a sublime experience. Pathetic place, pathetic resort and disaster management. No electric supply, I mean you are on a vacation and you have to sleep complete night without AC and everything has insects. Poor attitude, poor food This trip was like a nightmare for us. This is not worth buy highly overpriced

This place is situated in remote area gives you feeling of staying away from city chaos. The property is old but we'll maintained. Staff is really supportive and helpful. During stay we got leopard safari and hi tea. Both experiences are too good. You will get home cooked food in breakfast lunch and dinner. During campfire starters were also provided. Arrangements they did for us according to our timings are something you don't get in branded resorts. This is more like home stay but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Special thanks to Nirbhayaji for a unique experience.

I spent 2 nights with my family at this wonderful resort hidden away in the rocky wilderness of Rajasthan. Never before have I experienced such hospitality before by the staff and the host. There was quality in every aspect of the stay from food to service to location of the property. The host surprised us and took us to different spots both evenings to enjoy the sunset across the Aravalli ranges. We took the leopard safari to Jawai. Riding on the hills and straining our eyes through binoculars to spot a leopard while the Sun crept on us was truly a sublime experience. Would definitely love to come again for longer. I'm excited to try a trek or bird watching trail or horse riding camp next time I'm here.

Have an amazing experience, the stay was super luxurious with the royal touch of heritage & they give an adventure experience of mountain trailing, village safari, & Jeep Safari, the food was really delicious. Highly recommend to stay here while you travel to Jawai.

We had a really bad experience with Korta escape. This place is not at all recommended for kids below the age of 6/7. We had two kids under the age of three. This place is situated in a secluded place, there are no locals nearby or any other place to eat. At night it gets pitch dark and scary. The pool was not clean. We had to request them to get it cleaned, for using it. Food was home-cooked and therefore we had very less options and the taste was also average. The honey packets provided in the breakfast were expired. The service team was very good - helped us with milk and other things for our kids. The owner did not bother to give us an itinerary for the day. The high tea only had good day biscuits with tea/coffee. The entire day we stayed in the hotel with nothing to do. Though we planned to stay for 2 days, we checked out the very next day. The agent via whom we booked the hotel was very rude.

Get here for a quiet and peaceful escape out of city life. Located about 3 hour drive from Udaipur City, or about 3.5 hour from Ahmedabad, the place is right in the heart of Jawai area. The host Mr Nirbhay Singh is native to the place and personally takes care of all the arrangements for the guests. Great size rooms with a porch to relax. Sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner. The whole resort is very peaceful, and the mornings and evenings are really special. Great service with almost every need taken care of. They can be really flexible in taking care of special diet needs and timings. Totally recommended! Jawai area itself is quite a unique landscape, semi arid plains with scattered hills. The resort offers a unique launchpad for Leopard safari (Jawai is home to about 50+ leopards and is renowned for wildlife). We stayed here for 2 nights (which is recommended). Day 1 - host Mr. Nirbhay Singh arranged for a sunset safari, exploring fields and wildlife around the resort (antelopes, Neel Gai, rabbits and boars), with sunset special coffee, followed by campfire at the night. Day 2 - was reserved for Leopard spotting safari, which takes about 4 hours in total in the evening. We were fortunate to spot a female leopard with her cubs. Very rare!!
