The place is actually called Koppara which is about 15 KM's from Deodurg, a taluka place in Raichur district. I along with my parents had been to Koppara on 26/05/2017 from Ballari, which is about 208 KM's. Siruguppa, Sindhanoor, Manvi (Neer Manvi also), Sirwar are the places you come across while travelling from Ballari. Just 2 KM's before Deodurg you have to take a right turn to reach Koppara. The road , most part of it is good, except for the patches when you are nearing Koppara. The temple is situated on the banks of the river Krishna. The deities in the temple are Lord Narasimha both in form of a tree as well as Saligrama form and the idol of Lord Venkateshwara. The story of existence dates back to Mahabharata times according to Sri Kristacharya who is the chief archak there. The story about the temple narrated by him was mind boggling. You will not find Lord Narasimha and Lord Balaji in a single temple anywhere else. Overall a serene and calm atmosphere and with the Darshana of these deities you really feel blessed.
