pooyamkutti is a beautiful forest village in ernakulam district. Pooyamkutty is situated along Pooyamkutty river, a tributary of the Periyar. this place is gift of nature. Many of the locations used in the Mohanlal movies Pulimurugan and Shikkar are filmed at Pooyamkutty.
