Serene place for a morning ride. I was there on a weekday morning and fortunately there was no one else around, not even anyone to collect the parking fee. Was able to click some nice pics using my tripod with no disturbance. The roads leading to the place are quite narrow so if possible take a motorcycle instead of a car. Also, there are no facilities here like food, water, washrooms etc so plan accordingly.
Away from a city hustle, a quite sunset ride. Place is good with serene views. Main attraction is twin rocks but the 360* view is also good. Pet friendly place is added bonus. Parking is there which can be till the rock formations started . Crowd is minimal in the weekends as well. Not a great place interms of amenities but for a quite 2 -3 hrs is definitely recommended. Closing time is around 6:30pm but till dark you can visit
A beautiful secluded place atop hill about sixty kilometres from Bangalore. A very popular destination for bikers these days who love to risk biking to the top of the hill mostly for photo sessions with their bikes. It must be a lovely place for trekkers as well. It's a serene place where one can spend a whole day in the lap of nature. A general sense of cleanliness is apparent in villages through which the road to this place passes.
Nice place for an early morning ride. The views of surrounding landscape is great. You have to pay a parking fee. If you want to take your bike on top of the rock to get your pic with your loved bike, on your risk.
Towering over the surrounding landscape, the rocks create a dramatic backdrop that showcases nature's raw beauty. The rugged terrain, with its unique rock formations and breathtaking views. Exploring the hills while enjoying the stunning panoramic views is truly beautiful. It can get quite crowded, especially on weekends. As it is easily accessible and popular among locals and tourists alike, it tends to attract a significant number of visitors. It easily accessible from nearby towns and cities. The well-connected road network ensures a smooth journey, making it a convenient destination for a day trip or a weekend getaway.
The view is nice but then that's it. We drove 70kms to this place. You don't get anything at the top. Parking ticket is the only thing you need to pay for. Ladies toilet was blocked with filth and only gents Indian style toilet was function. Good point was that it had water.
Great place to spend mornings around Bangalore. You can also do a breakfast bike ride to this wonderful place. There's parking for bikes and cars that we can take at the base of the hills. Then a bit of trekking is required to reach the tops of each of the three peaks that are here. Lot of other hills/monoliths can be seen from the top of these small hills. It is worth the visit.
Great place. Can take bike all the way up great scenery for sunset and also in other directions. Be mindful of the hours. It's sharp 6:30 to 6:30
