Beautiful place. Good for bird photographers. Please visit during the season.

I recently visited the Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary, and it was like coming home after so many years. I spent half of my childhood here, and I'm happy to see that it's still thriving. What I love about this place is that the people here treat the birds as if they were their own pets. They show so much care and love for these feathered creatures that it warms my heart. Moreover, I was impressed by the effort and discipline that the municipalities have taken to improve this place with the culture. The Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary is not only a haven for birds but also a place where people can learn about conservation and the importance of protecting wildlife. Overall, I highly recommend the Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary to anyone who loves birds, nature, and a good dose of community spirit. You won't regret it!

I visited on march 18th water body level was low and no Birds spotted only seen regular birds but I suggest to everyone must carry Binocular with you bcoz it too far from Birds watch tower.

Wonderful view

Go only during the birding season - January to April. There won't be any birds during the other times.

Its a wonderfull place to visit because I dont have a plan to visit there I was going in the road in car that time I saw it
