Koolimad Abdhukka's Poratta Kada - Restaurant in Koolimad - Kozhikode, India

I recently dined at the Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Located conveniently near the new bridge, the restaurant offers easy access from the main road, making it a breeze to reach. Street parking is also readily available, eliminating any worries about finding a spot. One of the highlights of my visit was their live baked Porattas, which were served with a delectable variety of dishes. I had the pleasure of trying their Beef, Chemmeen (shrimp), and Koonthal (squid) options, all paired with the perfectly baked Poratta. The Poratta itself was a delight - hot, well-baked, and incredibly tasty, serving as the ideal accompaniment to the flavorful dishes. The beef and Koonthal dishes certainly met my high expectations. The flavors were rich and authentic, a true delight for the taste buds. However, I must admit that the Chemmeen fell a bit short of my hopes, as it was below average in terms of taste and texture. One aspect that adds to the charm of the Restaurant is its affordability. Despite the quality and taste of the dishes, the prices are pocket-friendly, making it an excellent option for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. I visited the restaurant at night, and while the experience was undeniably enjoyable, the rush and crowd were noticeable. For those looking to fully relish their meal and avoid the hustle and bustle, I'd recommend arriving before 8 PM.

Porotta is such a good one...baked live.. I had squid (kuunt)with porotta.but that was not upto expectation felt like cooked before hours..Ampiance is good..near koolimadu bridge

Vloggers made popular this hotel. Heavy crowded at early morning. You may have wait to take seat. Porota was nice. Beef curry Seems like average. Water content was high in beef curry. Staffs are good in their behaviour and service.

Served awesome special hot poratta. Kudampuli itta meen curry with poratta was so tasty. Chemmeen curry was finished when we reached there at 11am. Beef curry was below average.

Food is excellent and service is not up to the mark.
