Kongunad Hospital - Hospital in Coimbatore - Coimbatore, India

A multi specialty hospital. Situated in the center of the city. Hospital buildings are situated on both sides of the public road. So, one needs to move here and there crossing the road. There is no car parking space for patients. Instead of some shops the parking can be accommodated. Space inside the hospital is not adequate. Cramped everywhere. But they seem to manage it. Patients & attenders also need to manage this issue. All specialty doctors are available. Not much waiting time. Upfront service fees are told. Three types of rooms are available. Service is fine. All staff are doing their job well. Wheel chair movement alone takes little time than usual. Pharmacy billing and service are fine. Since all facilities are available and being in the center of the city, we can visit this hospital. Separately, they have kidney care related hospital near the hospital, in the adjacent road. For MRI and neuro, we need to go to their 100-foot road building. 100 feet road block is good. The only drawback is you need to move here and thereas they don't have all the facilities on one premises.

-Treatment seems fine for non life threatening issues -doctors ,nurses and care takers are good -worst infrastructure for the changes -malfunctioning lift -Unmaintained floors and staircases -in case of emergencies like fire it will be very difficult because of the and 2 points

Last night I am not well..I came treatment here...I am always preferred to come here because the doctors seeing good enough...but other staff like nurses are not good on the patients. shows attitudes they are not ready to give instructions and talking to patients..they talk gesture only..the management first give training to them..the nurses fight each other in front of patients..and yesterday i came for fever and headache they used axillary thermometer after used them not wipe or sterling used to all patients..and also in public places should use forehead thermometer first.waiting time also very long .after injection time told them to wait outside is no one ask for long time..but last night there inside injection area not too busy. very bad experience.

Thanks to Kongunadu hospital. I have admitted my wife for the delivery. Hospitality is good. Dr and nurse are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have taken care of my wife well. After delivery the management guided my wife how to feed, nap and take care of baby. Kudos to the team. The sad part of the hospital is, they do not have parking facility. So, I reduced 1 star for parking

They have taken care of my wife well. After delivery the management guided (lactation counselor) how feed to baby how to take care of baby it's very helpful

For me its a happy moment.. I had my first baby here only. Now the second baby also here. The doctors are very friendly and the nurses too. I feel at home. Breast feeding awareness session given by Cheran Rani was too good. She clarified many queries and explanation given by her was awesome.

Pros : 1/ Immediate attention at emergency. 2/ Very few Attentive/patient friendly Nurses. 3/ Mobile application where we can get all the reports time to time and Doctors list. 4/ Food . Cons : 1/ The rooms are pathetic n Very congested. Looks like a boxe. 2/The room what they are offered is not at all worth for the price we spent. 3/ We never seen such a small Rest room. You could imagine a 12 Square feet Attached Bathroom/toilet . Minimum a scratch on your skin or Max. a fracture guarantee. 4/ The charges are very very high . Ive admitted for viral fever for 2 days and they Billed nearly 30K. 5/ Despite admitted through cashless facilities still I have paid around 1500 from my pocket. 6/ Patient must be informed in advance for non covered charges. For Food they charged separately which is not informed us and some medicines/ fluids , Dieting advice charge , File charge , Discharge charges .OMG . Except food all other charges are indigestible. Purely money oriented. 7/ Visiting Doctors are somewhat okay but not a patient friendly and just come and say Hi-Bye attitude. 8/ One of the Doctor shouted his Jr. Doctor infront of patient . 9/ For few floors don't have lift facilities, you have to use ramp mandatory. It's not advisable for elders. 10/ We have to cross main road to access another building where all the diagnostic are performing. If you have luck enough then you can reach safely. We would not like to recommend this hospital to anyone and ourselves would not visit again.

Im from vadavalli, since 12 years I'm visiting here for diabetic consultation under senior diabetoligist Dr.bhuvanapriya .good diabetics treatment given. Regular follow-up with her. Service is fantastic. I'm fully satisfied..
