Konar Kadai - Konar mess (Egmore) - Non Vegetarian Restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Today we visited Konar Kadai for lunch which we have planned for a long time. We ordered their Non veg meals, Karandi omelet, Mutta Kari, Brain, Pepper Kada & Kola urundai. Non veg gravies which comes with meals are not up to the mark. Few gravies were bland. But Mutta Kari, Brain, & Kola urundai were excellent. Pepper Kada & Karandi omelet is good. But not worth for the money. Forget to mention their veg poriyals. All were good and tasted good. Finally it's a proper non veg meals if you order extra side dish. Final Bill is 1500 for 3 members. Note: You will get 10% discount if you have swiggy dine out.

Excellent food preparation, authentic taste and their vadas are very soft inside , chutney is freshly made combine with hot sambar tastes better ... They have good egg dosai aswell ...I prefer to go for breakfast every time I visit Chennai.

Kari Dosai was excellent and it was the specialty food of this hotel. Other food items are really food like Mutton Chukka and Nethili Fry. Overall good taste. Car park also available. Waiting time is there so plan accordingly. Thanks

Service excellent, even though some of the menu items were not available at dinner time, only tiffen item was available. Taste wise good, must try kola urundai, chicken wings.

Food is great. But portions size are awkwardly placed. One serving of biriyani is not enough but two is too much. Tad expensive but worth for the taste.

Welcoming aroma of Biriyani hit the spot. Mutton Biriyani was very good with abundance of mutton pieces Meals was normal, mutton kuzhambu was excellent Mutton pepper fry was out of the world but Brain fry not so good A satisfying meal though

Their food quality is good and most of this items are authentic in taste. Both veg and non-veg meals also good. Mutton curry dosai and Manniral fry are must try.

Very different biriyani and must try mutton items here.
