Komghatta Kere is a nice lake with about 1.7km of walking track around the lake. Lake is pretty decently maintained and also has a good fencing around the lake. Walkway is covered with trees providing good shade. Lots of birds can be seen in the wet land area (which is used for sewage filtration), birds spotted - Black Headed Ibis, Indian Black Ibis, Cormorants, Little Grebes, Grey headed swamphen, waterhens, egrets and herons. Worth a visit for a morning/evening walk
Very good place place for morning walk. The park 's walking track is renovated recently and reopened. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. While i visited on weekend still hardly any crowd there. Suitable for family outing.
Beautiful and peaceful lake, it's good for walk and jogging. But needs to be cleaned.
Sad story of yet another dying lake of Bengaluru. The lake is increasingly smelling bad, too much algae growth, trash thrown into it. If you take a walk along the trail you can easily spot dead fish in the lake. There are still some beautiful birds you can spot but who knows untill when.
Beautiful place with chilling environment during rainy season its a treat to visit this place. Sooo cool due to the lake and the water in it. Peaceful area with ducks and fishes in the lake.

The lake is getting polluted by sewage lines connected directly from all over Sir MV Layout and neighboring areas.
