Komala Vilas Hotel - South Indian restaurant in Kannur - Kannur, India

I recently visited Hotel Komala Vilas in Kannur, and it was a delightful experience. Its proximity to Kannur Railway Station is a significant advantage. This charming, old hotel offers a great selection of delicious vegetarian options. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast, which was not only tasty but also great value for money. If you're looking for good food near the railway station, this place is a must-visit.

Price is moderate. Inside is a regular hotel with enough seating. It was crowded in the evening. Service was fast. Staffs were polite. Only handwashing is available.

Bit old. Tasty Food. Mostly Regular Customers. Service is not that professional. Looks like a mangalorean set up. Happy Customer.

I had Paneer Dosa here.. it was too good with lots of paneer fillings. Sambhar and chutney was also good. Rates are very reasonable. Only drawback is cleanliness.. they must focus on it. It's a vegetarian hotel.. which we don't get easily in Kannur

Really sorry to tell this, a very pathetic veg restaurant in kannur town... No hygenic, the suppliers are of from other states which make difficult to communicate and they do their work just for name sake only... The food also was very bad.. Order 5 ghee roast in total for all the members with me.. Not a single one was completely cooked all were like 70-80% only cooked.. Also tried tea and uttapam which was also pretty normal..

faced a bad experience. Orderd for wada, found hair in wada same handovered to service staff, and informed to cashier. No positive reply received from their end. Noticed all kitchen staff not following any hygiene mesure to keep food safe for example not using hair nets in production area. Very bad hygiene other than that this restaurant serving food at affordable rate. If any of the management seen this please invest in hygiene to keep food safe and make your customers happy.

Very old style hotel. Budget oriented. Food quality and taste is OK. Service persons not caring about cleanliness and hygiene. Quite near to kannur railway station.

Its a pure veg restaurant situated nearest to kannur railway station. Honestly, i didn't like the ambiance and it is situated in congested area. The food was ok and there are varieties of dishes in the menu.The cleanliness was very bad.They didn't clean the dining area properly and it was a bad experience.
