Nice virgin beach..very few stay option available and tide is very strong. For afternoon beach walk is very soothing and will recomend if you are traveling varkala then take a detour.

One of the beautiful beach in South India, which provides the natural eternity and positive thoughts,cool mind when we visit , but now a days beach becomes dangerous , lots of visitors faces the dangerous moments in their joyful enjoyments, please obey the instructions who wishes to visit there.

During my recent visit to Kollam had the pleasure of spending a day at the beautiful Kollam Beach. This serene and picturesque beach offers a perfect escape from the bustling city life. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the beach was impressive. were well-maintained, and there was no litter in sight. The local authorities have done a commendable job in keeping the beach pristine and inviting for visitors. The beach itself is vast and offers ample space for leisurely walks or simply lounging . The gentle breeze from the Arabian Sea creates a soothing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore adds to the tranquility of the surroundings. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing a breathtaking sunset at Beach. The vibrant hues of orange and pink painted the sky, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. It was truly a sight to behold and a memorable experience. Another aspect worth mentioning is the availability of various activities at the beach. From camel rides to horseback riding, there are plenty of options to keep visitors entertained. Additionally, there are numerous food stalls and vendors selling local snacks and refreshments, allowing visitors to indulge in the delicious flavors of Kerala. However, it is important to note that during peak hours, the beach can get quite crowded. This may affect the overall tranquility and peacefulness of the experience. It is advisable to visit during weekdays or early mornings to fully enjoy the serenity of beach

I was visiting Kollam beach , from Trivandrum and really impressed with the facilities and cleanliness.The walk way to the sea, the lighthouse, the places to sit and relax..TVM has Shangumugham,Kovalam etc and spends crores with no facilities like these . Certainly a good place to visit.

Kollam beach. Not the cleanest beach for sure but a serene place for all to come and get some fresh air. Children love flying their kites, grown ups just enjoy the wind.

One of the beautiful beaches in Kerala. But it's in worst condition to be honest! Because of lack of hygeine... No proper parking space, no public restroom, no washroom ( I'm not sure if there's any). And there's no police or anyone to manage crowd or to control issues. No proper maintenance of the beach. It's beautiful by nature but that beauty faces because of people and govt behaviour!

Best to go during the evening at 4:30pm . Because you can have fun for a long time and if you are a couple you can relax and talk about your personal life and come to a nice mood at the end. We fly kites for half an hour and come to a kids mode.
