As it says homestay it really felt like home with good food. You can actually meet some new people, some foreigners talk to them, share your thoughts at breakfast. Just loved it If you want private rooms or dormitory its upto ur choice. Good for solo travellers as the owners are friendly

Best place to keep your luggage while you explore the city! Very reasonable rates! (Rs. 100/- for 1 day) You can hardly find a place in Kolkata where you can keep just your bags without taking a room on rent which becomes very expensive especially if you don't want to stay in the room but just want to keep your bags and roam around the city! The family is very sweet and helpful! You can also book a stay there for just Rs. 450/- a day! Warm hospitality!
Awesome place located in south Kolkata and near a metro stop. The family who owns the place is so nice and helpful. You definitely feel welcome in their house. Rooms and bed are comfortable and it's pretty affordable (450rs/night including water and breakfast). Good and chill place to meet other travelers!
Great hostel in kolkata, good price. The owners are very welcoming The room is clean and comfortable, owners give you lot of information to reach his place un-scammed by taxis or rickshaws from airport or train station. Breakfast is included and is different everyday. The common terrace is a good place to exchange tips about the city with travelers or owners.
I stayed here for a month while spending time in Kolkata and exploring West Bengal. I had my own room downstairs with easy access to a sink and washroom. The atmosphere is lovely in its own unique way. It was very clear to me upon arrival that the ambiance of the space is influenced by the travels that come in and out while remaining tied to the original decorations of the home. The Chakrabarty family could not have been more gracious hosts. They cooked breakfast every morning and served it to guests on the lovely rooftop terrace. It was there that I met people from all over the world with great stories to share. In addition, Debasish was so helpful with getting settled in Kolkata. It was a brand new city for me, so I didn't know in the beginning where to find the essential restaurants, stores and such. He went out of his way several times to make sure I found what I needed to ensure my comfort. I would recommend this space to anyone spending time in Kolkata and looking for an authentic experience. You'll be in the best hands. I will forever be grateful for my stay.

We had a very comfortable stay. The room we booked was very spacious. The location was perfect. Well connected with the locations we needed to travel to. The food they served (charged separately) was sumptuous and very tasty. It was home cooked food.
