Located 42 kilometers away from Kozhikode, the tranquil Kolavipalam Beach graces the space between Vatakara and Payyoli. Nestled to the southern banks of the Murad River, it proudly earns its moniker as the Turtle Beach, owing to its migrant Olive Ridley turtles. The opportune season for turtle spotting is September, when nature unfolds its wonders. A captivating stretch of coconut groves lends an enchanting backdrop to the beach's allure. Characterized by stone walls, a serene ambiance, and a pleasing absence of crowds, the beach holds a magnetic appeal for individuals of all ages, as well as families seeking tranquility. An added bonus: the visit here comes at no cost. Those arriving by car will find street parking as their sole option. The mornings and evenings unveil the beach's true splendor, making them the ideal hours to experience its charm.
Undisturbed..No Proper Maintenance done.. need the tourism department to develop this place. Lot of potential to be a competitor to sand banks vatakara
By far one of the best roads to ride. Arabian Sea by the left and coconut trees on either side .
A beautiful natural beach and surroundings. High potential tourist place for resorts and such gatherings. Lacks public roads to access the entire stretch of beach till Azhimugham(River Mouth). Would need to pass through the local people's land. Shades by the coconut farms gives cool breeze and makes it a nice place to be even at noon.
It's a nice place for spending time with friends and family. It's not like any other beaches, it's suitable for morning or evening walk and there is a very limited facilities available here.

A very nice beach to spend the evening. It's a very calm and quiet place with less crowd. The great stretch of coconut groves along the beach enhances the charm of the beach. This picturesque beach comprises of beautiful golden sand shallow sea water. Furthermore, it is also said to be a "haven" for the Olive Ridley Turtle species, and hence often referred as "turtle beach".
Soothing place to be! Tropical Arabian sea. I suggest you to spend some quality time and chill. Not much crowded in weekday.
At the beach, life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun. "Nice place to rewind your thoughts "
Beautiful place to come and wind down. It's a secret beach in a secret location. The local internet influencers have come and made it famous. They named this "Mini Goa". From the parking, a small 500m walk is required to reach the actual beach. This
Kunjali Marakkar Mosque. Concists of Portuguese Royal Throne And Sword. But no access for public and non muslims since it is still used for religious purposes. This should be At least 500 years old . I think it should convert into a museum and build

We ate here while staying overnight at Sargaalaya Kerala Arts and Crafts Center. They don't have dinner at the hotel so looking around, we found Mom's Kitchen right down the road. The food was really great! They have fabulous chicken tandoori and the
On the way to Guruvayur from Kannur this hotel is on the right side. Road work is going on so crossing the road is a bit tedious. The washrooms and washing area are good. Quick service, good food. It was more like home. I ordered Parotta, chapathi, o
