Kolaahalam Mainland Resorts & Spa Yercaud - Hotel in Sengadu - Salem, India

It was good staying in this resort. Place and surroundings are very good. They have some pets inside which makes it more pleasant experience for pet lovers. Coming to the rooms: it was good but the telephone was dead. There were no towels provided in bathroom. Had to go request twice directly at the reception even after that telephone was not fixed. Other than that, it was good experience. Food was also good. Would have given more stars if the service was better.

We went corporate outing with group of 10 members. Definitely this is one of the best resort in Yercaud. Neat rooms, surrounded by full of trees, tasty food, free camp fire and music. Overall good hospitality. I would like to thank Mr. inba and he is very responsive and fulfilled our needs though we checked two hours early.

The location is fabulous. Very entertaining. Food and service is good. Room rates are competitive.cleanliness needs to be improved. Overall a memorable experience. Recommend for the relaxed atmosphere.

Kolaahalam Resort located in just 1km from the Yercaud Lake and Yercaud Bus stand. Great location and beautiful surrounding atmosphere , Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever , lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional very clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service . Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable and every rooms had geyser . I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Room and the location is good. Kids can can enjoy. Camp fire arrangements also good. But the food and service are very very worst. Not tasty n they are not providing food ontime. Especially buffet food is very worst. Places are not sufficient to sit and eat.

We'll maintained resort with a lot of activities. Great spacious rooms as well! Only downside of the area is poor mobile connectivity. Didn't have signal for JIO. But they provide WiFi which is fast at reception area.

We booked 3 rooms. The check in time was 2.00 pm, but we were handed over the rooms by 5.10 pm. We stayed for one day only, but half the time was spent in dealing with these people for room service, compensation, etc. The House keep was so so lazy and does not serve you when in need. While the rooms are spacious and good, the front desk quoted a price of Rs.6750 for one room. So make sure to book online, else there are probabilities to rob you. Hot water comes for 1 minute. Wifi gets disconnected in the mornings, as they turn off the router. Other quoted price : Trekking - Rs.350/head Jeep Safari - Rs.4000 per jeep(accommodates 5-6 members) which is very expensive. In House Spa - Kerala Ayurvedic Massage begins at Rs.2800 inclusive of taxes. (The same is rs.1200 in other places). Cilantro (Restaurant) - Food is okish. Not great, can manage. Any Celebration - Rs.1500 ( They tie balloons in a small kind of setup, and provide a cake - Totally not worth it)

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 2 nights. We were surprised that a very basic requirement of hot water was not provided. We complained 7 times (calling reception and even personally speaking), but it was not taken care of. This shows ignorance towards customers and represent resort's attitude. Our family including kids took bath with cold water for 2 days. I will not recommend this resort for family after our experience with them. The customer service is poor.
