KOHINOOR Hotel and Restaurant Benachity (A Legend since 1956) - North Indian restaurant in Durgapur - Paschim Bardhaman, India

It serves a decent amount and variety of food. The taste is not exceptional but good. I had a special mutton biryani, that was served with two big pieces of well cooked mutton. However, they forgot to provide Alu. Initially I thought they don't serve alu with biryani, but later saw alu in other peoples plates.

Tried their chicken noodles and chicken Biryani. Noodle was good and Biryani was really amazing ar 180rs which had enough quantity of rice, 1 leg pc and egg. The rice was long grained and aromatic and chicken was well cooked. Only negative is it was bit oily.

Most third class location for having food. Food was half cooked like chiken, there was feathers in the chiken. Naan was totally burnt and over priced, along with rude behaviour of the staff ....

I booked a hotel room for 3 people.And I ask for an extra mattress and blanket first the hotel staff say that he gives an extra mattress and blanket then he asks my room no. then he replied that an extra mattress and blanket is not available at all.At night around 12.30 am the airconditioner electric is cut I go and say to their hotel staff. he told me that electricity is cut for load settingThen our room's light is totally cut and after some time the electricity comes but the air conditioner is still not working. Then i go out and I see that other rooms air conditioners are working.

Charged an extra amount for visiting a friend. Rooms are spacious but bathroom amenities are not available. Not worthy.

The service was not so good. I went there and ordered a plate of veg chowmin worth Rs90 but the quantity was very little considering the price. And also there was a match stick on my food.

Same old taste of Tandoori roti and chicken kasha . The rotis are a bit thicker than available normally , but that's the speciality of this restaurant.

Yeah , I don't recommend who have a middle budget going with friends yeah this wanna be good choice but the hotel cashier behaviour I won't expect like that and yeah they take cold drinks price per bottle 5 RS extra it's really unfair and room is really not look hygeine and they give us the glass it's also not proper cleaned , I'm disappointed not expected from Kohinoor .
