Kohinoor Cottage Akshi - Hotel in Akshi - Raigad, India

Not so good experience.. Ac stopped working in morning, curtain rod was broken n it ws fallen down while pulling it, there are very bad smell coming through sink, hot water available only in morning, don't allowed this time in swimming pool at 7pm, ac water was leaking inside and made mess in night. Compared to quality food ws expensive, also in off season and odd days room charges ws high. And yes, you'll not feels like you are on vaccay.. It's feels like you're in someone's home, like a flat. Owners are good.. Room no 107

Honest reviews- Untidy rooms. Poor service. TV was not functioning. You can use swimming pool only once regardless of amount you paid. No basic facilities like soap, driniing water, hot water was provided. Worst experience. Will never recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed the stay. Staff is polite and helpful . check in experience was good and quick . rooms were cleaned and arranged before we arrived. 101 and 103 were two rooms which we booked, one room had mini fridge and was quite spacious with decent view from 1st floor and the other room was having coconut farm trees view. Breakfast and lunch/dinner available on pre order as they have limited resources. We had breakfast for two days and 6 people and the bill was 1500. Coffee is better than tea (just a heads up). A very neat and clean Hotel to stay and food. Room spacious and room service just ok. We had to insist for three towel for each instead of only one !Our room with AC failed for four hours due to Electric supply failed. Then TV signals failed. No hot water except in morning. No WiFi, even no mobile signals in room (#107). However, we liked our veg. food & breakfast (they serve both veg/nonveg) that was served punctually but on prior confirmed order only. Tariff is a bit high (2500/-) but food reasonable. Let nice and covered parking for seven cars. An excellent hotel at Akshi for safe family accomodation.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. The food was delicious - we had a packed picnic lunch of puri bhaji, veg biryani, raita and delicious steamed modak. The hotel staff were very helpful. Nice, large rooms with verandahs. They have a winter special - vegetables and marinated chicken cooked in a pot in the ground. Look forward to going back there and trying it!

Overall good.big room and wash rooms. No DG in case of power failure.. suggest to install it to cottage owner. You can order food and they can make for you..

As it was a long weekend so the rates were very high comparatively the in room services . Property is not very old, rooms are big and cozy and well maintained. It is near to akshi and nagaon beach, though akshi is nearest;5 min from the property. Food is good, owner herself oversee the preparations done in the kitchen. Tried crab masala and bombil fry, all delicious. But one thing , you should order well in advance as they have limited staff and small kitchen comparatively to the no. of rooms.
