This is a really good spot for a educational institution. There are Xerox shops around, hostels, tea stalls, canteens even college personal canteen(2x). The view is amazing from the top terrace, not much population so can see evergreen nature's, valleys and distance villages. I graduated from this college ....all the lectures are so qualified ...quality education in Arts and Commerce.. It's not a spoon feeding like the other colleges and college activities are held every year.. extra curriculum also included.

One of the oldest colleges in Nagaland, Kohima College has stood the test of time. Earlier the college used to be located near Union Baptist Church, Kohima. However, the college was shifted to the present location where the environment is more suitable for learning. At the present location the college shares the building with Thinuovicha Memorial High School. The present location provides a playing ground, an indoor stadium and a big compound where college activities are held. The college is the alma mater to many leading Naga leader and figures.
