It's a solitude beach and there won't be much crowd at any time. Only few people will be there. But the beach is very unhygienic. Lots of plastic, liquor bottles and tons of cow dung will be seen there...
One of the best beach in Chidambaram. It is quiet and relaxing here. You can visit the beach anytime. During it is better to stay away from the waves since. It is 18km from Chidambaram. However there is no any basic facilities available as location in rural areas. Views is awesome and we can enjoy there with friends or family. I have done bike riding also.
Beach good. But road way is very very very bad. I don't go another time. Not only me all visitors same mood

Awesome enjoyment in beach, but little more salt water taste of ocean. Enjoyed the breeze and wave and had fun in water. Okay place not much clean neither nit much place for women's to change dress
Chidambaram is not only famous for beach. It also has a beautiful and calm beach nearby. You can spend your 2 or 3 hrs time here with your family in the evening. Roads are good now. Always it has minimal crowd and it is clean. 30 mins from chidambaram temple.
Kodiyampalayam beach was good and clean.. refreshing environment.... There will be no shops available... Road way to reach kodiyampalayam was good to drive for both two wheeler and four wheeler but near to the beach of around 300meters was very bad to drive... Quite unsafe for girls at night time...
