Kodiveri Waterfalls - Tourist attraction in Akkaraikodivery - Erode, India

Very good experience. A little bit of maintenance is required from the state tourism department. Remember to have someone watch your belongings when you enjoy bathing. Also do remember to wear your footwear while walking on the sand to avoid the heat and its damn hotter most of the time. Also the rocks are very slippery so remember to hold the rail while walking.

One of the most beautiful places to go out with friends and family. If you are going on weekends, visit by 8am itself to avoid rush. There is a parking and entrance ticket. When we visit the water flow is medium and we spend more time in waterfalls. A nice place to visit and highly recommended for friends and family. Please avoid using plastic and other unwanted things and keep the place neat.

Good place to visit as family. Decently maintained falls with boating and a small children's park. Avoid during weekends. You also get many items like araku powder, sundaikai, native corn, and few snacks which are a must try.

Kodiveri falls is one of the best hang out spots near Erode. We can spend a couple of hours with family and friends here. Very good atmosphere and a relaxing place. Parking is not a problem. We can park our vehicles either paid or park on the roadside. Entry fee to the falls is 5 rupees per person. There were not too many crowds during our visit, so we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We can go for 10-15 mins of HAND BOAT (Ohdam) inside the premises, and they are charging 50 rupees per head, and for small kids (maybe under 12 years old I guess) it's free. The water was so clean and fresh because of the floating water. This is not a big waterfall but the force of the water is the same as the other waterfalls. For safety, there are few handlebars? available. Some of the footpaths are very skiddy, so please mind your steps. Even though we fall down, there won't be a risk of water - but the risk of breaking our bones. So please be very careful. There are so many small shops available to refresh like coffee, ice cream, masala poori, cut fruits and of course fish and fish rice. Fish fry price starts from 50 rupees and the cost of rice is just 50 rupees with 1 curry fish. Hygiene may be a question, because of the usage of oil, but for one day it's not a very big issue. So just chill out and enjoy the food.

Good and nice place to visit. During the weekend the crowd is more than expected. More than 1 Km all the vehicles are parked here. Kids will enjoy the water falls and backlog water boating is also here.

Private parking areas might charge 50 rupees for a car, whereas government-designated spots ask only 20 rupees for car parking.

Had a wonderful time with my friends, we went around 9AM on a Saturday so there was no crowd at all and people started rolled in around afternoon time. We enjoyed both waterfall and still water bathing, there was a lot of water and clean as well, there were no fishes and you can peacefully stand still without worrying about fish bites. There are some small food outlets nearby and the people were friendly, Definitely recommended going during summer. PS: The rocks are slippery so move around carefully

Kodiveri waterfalls is located in erode district of tamilnadu. A good place to chill out during summer. Timing 8AM to 5 PM. Entry fee Rs 5 for adults and kids above 3 years. Car parking fee Rs 20 and has good parking space. The boat ride is Rs 50 per head. Please avoid fish fry and pack your lunches before going there. Please plan your visit on weekdays rather than weekends. The right time for the visit is around 11.30 to 3.30. There is no safety locker available for storing the valubles please keep your valuables at car. Restroom is not clean. Before ordering food please check whether its is fresh or not we had stomach upset after eating there.. please double check before ordering. Icecreams and other snacks carts are available. Boating is available for 50 per head and it was a thrilling experience.
